I had one once - I gave up on it (and all other wheeled dive bags) when I discovered that a quarter of my airline check weight limit was just the bag! After a few years it was still functioning but looking fairly tired.
Nowaday I just use a waterproof PCV duffle bag with zip away shoulder...
I've been using a N2ition 3 recently.
As my deco dives use RGBM models I dive using tables and a bottom timer - the modified bulhman the N2ition uses leads to much longer shallow stops, less deep stops and so has a completely different dive profile.
I leave the N2ition on (rather than...
With only 25-49 dives I would slow down and enjoy recreational diving for a while before switching to independant doubles or, as your other thread indicates, pulling out your reel.
I wouldn't dive doubles without the skills and understanding to do deco dives safely - as carrying that amount...
Funny you say that - having worked in Asia for the last 15 years I only know of two acquaintances whove been robbed in their hotel room. It both case they had made a habit of taking guest relation officers back home with them.
Don't worry Betty - you're not alone in having a smelly booty....
One from the archives - My Booty Stinks : just remember to wash and shake your booty till it stinks no more.
Yep – that’s correct.
In my first post I meant to say that if you looked at your saturated tissues as you ascend you would see lots of microbubbles forming.
When you return to undersaturated conditions you would think bubbles dissolve completely – but you can often have...
All ascending divers will have bubbles.
Even non divers on the surface can have bubbles caused by cavitations as joints move around.
The key is how your bubbles are managed.
Bubbles form when the pressure of nitrogen in solution exceeds, by a certain amount, the ambient pressure. The...

The IST - it's a great little light - tight beam and very, very bright. Can signal people 1-2 meters away during shallow mid-day dives, and further when at depth. I ordered mine with 5 modes but will cut it down to two at some point (full...
Whoooo Hooooo!
Have a great day mate! We really enjoyed catching up with you guys at Fishrock and look forward to diving with you again sometime soon.
Cheers and many happy returns,
Rohan and Enkhee.
I think Offthewall hit the nail on the head.
I found Nitrox to be a very informative course, and would recommend doing it simply for the theory it provides.
However - I managed to dive without a nitrox certification for 10 years, and in the 10 years since the course I still only rarely...
If it's an O-ring leak you tend to know about it.
If its a few 'microdrops' then it's likely to be coming through the buttons. I have the same set up and have given up using it below 20 meters because, after a few years, the buttons have started sticking open. I'll probably have to take apart...
Accused scuba killer remanded in custody
An American man accused of murdering his wife during a north Queensland diving trip has been remanded in custody by a Supreme Court Judge in Brisbane.
It is alleged 32-year-old David Gabriel 'Gabe' Watson killed 26-year-old Tina Watson while they...
Thanks for the advice Cam - I just received my Diverite P-Valve, but am currently putting off making the hole. Looks like I'll have to work up my nerves and reach for the hole punch.
Why didn't you go with glueing on the washers?
Cheers,
Rohan.
Nope.
Mares regs use a 1/2" diameter fitting for the primary regulator, and their first stages typically have one 1/2" and three 3/8" LP ports.
Check the US diver first stage and see - I suspect it will have only 3/8" LP ports.
If so you will either need to change the hose: which is...
To get past the three letter limit simply add a wildcard: *HUB
The main problem is that a multiple word search on scubaboard appears to be an OR function: it returns all posts with either word.
It would be a lot more usefull if it was an AND, like Google's, and returned only results...
Yep - I find it hard to comprehend just how long they live for. There's no way these corals can ever be harvested in a sustainable manner, at least in the timeframe of human civilisation.
It will be interesting to see if this research actually helps protect black coral - I somehow doubt...
