I saw this and followed that thread on the other forum. I don't know the outcome of what happened, but the "instructor" was reported the agency in which he represents. Frankly, I am elated that he stepped up and said something. There is a lot of internet chest pounding about how some would...
I have two sets of drysuit undergarments I do not use and need to sell. First is a set of Fourth Element Arctic top and bottoms. Both are a size Large and the bottoms Large-short. They have only 10 dives on them and are too thick for me. Literally in new condition. I am asking $220 shipped...
I have a Diverite Rec-EXP Wing I am not using and would like to sell. Has been stored in climate controlled area away from sunlight. Both bladders hold air and have no leaks. I am asking $180 shipped. Paypal only please.
I don't have the Xerotherm personally so I can't speak for the fit of it. But if I was going to double up then I would buy one size larger.

Yes that's how it is designed. Given the xerotherm is large enough to comfortably wear both.
I am very pleased with the drybase. I got a tad "chilly" but my suit was also consistently flooding. I now have an new neoprene drysuit and believe it will be more than enough.

I've never used UA products and definitely don't have a need for dry gloves in FL springs lol
All in all I was/am very happy with the drybase. Avg temp was 68. I did get chilly but my suit also leaked non stop too (4 days and 8 dives). I have a new SEAC suit coming so that with the drybase I...
Yup I had to learn from experience myself diving on the hydro Atlantic and the Jim atria. At the time I only had a 200-foot light monkey real, with the current at that time it almost wasn't enough

Are you doing ocean dives? If so keep in mind the current will create a large curve in you line eating up a lot of the length. My personal opinion, get a reel that is twice the length of your deepest depth.

Went ahead and ordered the dry base. Simply because it was cheaper and I dont nessasarily get cold to easy. My side mount course was done in 70 degree f water with a BT of about 133 in a 5mil lol. My suit is a pinnacle trilaminit. Ive only dove my arctic set in FL springs, where the majority...
Yeah I was drenched in sweat lol. Oddly tho I did not feel hot at all. In my wet suit I am more than comfortable in a 5 mil.

I need some opinions on the FE Dry base undergarments. I currently have the arctic set and its like diving in a sauna in FL springs. Im thinking about using the dry as a stand alone undergarment. What say the masses?

Exactly, stolen bottles isn't the only reason you should be calculate for lost Beco. You could have a malfunctioning regulator or first stage for example.

Lol yes, but sadly no I don't think even that would work. It's standard for every decompression bottle be clearly marked so that it can be identified to the user and also has the maximum operating depth on the side of the bottle. And most bottles containing pure oxygen are clearly labeled...
Its been known before of people stealing stage or deco bottles left by cave divers. This is why it is crucial to plan the dive AND plan for contingencies, with "lost deco" being one of them.

Not necessarily true tbone. I dive witbh f1 in a wetsuit (5mil) and my weight is in the lowest nodes on my SM harness. But you definitely right about them being heavy. Granted I also dont dive steel (yet)
