    Atomic B1?

Not that any shops would have access to. Atomic would have records as they test and log every regulator before it leaves the factory. An email or call to Atomic would be your best bet. I

    Atomic B1?

The internals are the same between the B1 and B2 2nd stages. In fact there is very little difference between the two, think more along the lines of a model year change in a car rather than a generational change. A color kit and new piston will have you back up and running.

    Atomic B1?

That looks to be a B1, however the B1 and B2 are very similar. I believe it is a B1 as the purge cover on the second stage appears to have been replaced with a B2 cover. The first stage has a “donut” cover instead of the full rubber cover. -1st stage differences- The main difference...

Can I use the 'built in' adapter from my Atomic SS1 inflator hose?

The standard Atomic “SS1 Hose” consists of a standard LP hose and a threaded adapter quick disconnect. You are able to remove the quick disconnect and put it on a low pressure hose of any length.

Subnautica - Anyone else playing this?

Endless Ocean: Blue World is the best diving game I ever played, only on the wii and came out in 2009. I put so many hours in it, my wii literally died. Subnautica Is the best thing in the past 10 years IMO

    Atomic Z2 Octo?

Gotta love atomics. I bought a used titanium 2nd stage (ti2) last serviced in 2004 and when it arrived I hooked it up and it was still within spec. That’s 16 years! Of course I went a head and serviced it anyways for piece of mind. I know the owner of T1 #8 that went 24 years and over 3500...

    Help! Bauer Poseidon p320 block?

The compressor belonged to a friend of my shop owners. It was given to us as his new house had no room to put it. The previous owner had it from new, but had a bad habit of not servicing anything. We have assumed it has been extremely minimally if ever serviced. It has a little over 1400 hours...

I cannot find a serial number plate anywhere.

    Help! Bauer Poseidon p320 block?

I have a Bauer Poseidon p320 and am trying to give it an overhaul. Having trouble finding parts which I know is very common for these compressors. From the manuals I have it appears the block is a Bauer of some sort but I cannot find which one. I’m trying to find the model of Bauer compressor...

Help me to understand what happened

What 2nd stage was on his backgas and what was on his deco cylinder? An already task loaded/ uncomfortable/ anxious diver switching to a regulator that doesn’t breathe as easily could have indeed been the cause. I’ve heard quite a few stories about something similar. My shop owner told me of...

Improperly installed inflator valve on a drysuit?

Yeah, that would do it. I just recently installed si-tech valves in my clx-450. I used drysuit glue to bond the gasket to the suit, and then used aqua seal around the edge of the valve port to seal it up. No leaks in about 75 dives.

    Peeing Etiquette

I’ve got a buddy that has mastered the timing of drinking water and using his P-valve on the surface. It looks like in cartoons when the characters get shot and appear fine until drinking water. It’s pretty funny, but someone got grossed out by it once and it hasn’t made an appearance in a while...

New diver's ramp location at Lake Jocassee, reviews?

A longer swim which I referred to as an annoyance... I’m not quite sure where we are not connecting because I have agreed with everything you said?

New diver's ramp location at Lake Jocassee, reviews?

Really wasn’t a point, just a comparison. The depth of the coves themselves are about the same. The lake follows the landscape, so where there is a valley it continues into the lake. If you want depth get into the valley’s and follow them into creek beds. However getting out of the coves is...

New diver's ramp location at Lake Jocassee, reviews?

The peninsula in the middle is the new divers parking lot. The cove towards the bottom is the new divers cove. The cove above is just to the right of the boat ramp (when standing on the boat ramp and looking across the lake)

    Where to put octo BP&W

I Have a buddy who uses a snorkel keeper on his left chest D-Ring to hold his alternate second stage on his recreational rig (see above). I’m not a fan of stuffing the hose into D-rings for numerous reasons. One being the d-ring becomes essentially useless as you could easily trap the hose...

    Neutral Aluminum 80

It is worth noting that I used a “neutral” 80 twice as a bottom stage, so I was not dropping it. It was heavy enough even empty that I wouldn’t want to be dropping or picking it up.

    Neutral Aluminum 80

IIRC those buoyancy specs are without a valve. Also remember to account for the buoyancy shift of diving freshwater (I assume you are). Then you add a 1.5lb valve, then a 1.5lb regulator then 6lb of gas “air”. And that’s just for one bottle. I rigged one up for myself and the difference is...

New diver's ramp location at Lake Jocassee, reviews?

I’d doubt that temp at 90ft. But I haven’t been there in a couple months. It’s usually in the mid 50’s. I went diving off the boat ramp in mid June and ran a new line from the buoy anchor at the end of the ramp to the platform. We went back the next weekend and my buddy and I were following...
