    The New Atomic TFX

the swivel is indeed built into the hose. I believe @rsingler found a trident fitting that could be used to shorten them for bungeed use. he'll have to chime on for the part number though...

Drysuit or wetsuit for 11/12 year olds in UK

I'd say good quality 7mm wetsuits with perhaps an added layer would be ok in the summer, for shorter dives. Hoods and gloves also needed. Kids get cold easier than adults... Warmer air temps will also help them warm up between/after dives. As for winter.... 46°F water, diving wet? Not a...

    Review Seaskin Nova drysuit

dove our Novas on NYE here in Ontario. Wore the 250s, with the base layer, and a thin additional merino midlayer top. 52 minutes @ 38ffw. 39°F. Surface air temps around 30-32°F. hands and toes were getting chilly by the end, but wasn't extremely uncomfortable. That's about as cold as we...

Great Lakes Diving Tour in a week

I've been on the ss wexford, and enjoyed it quite a bit. I found Grand Bend, and the marina, to be overly busy though. Parking was a pain, and we had to haul our doubles pretty far to get to the slip. Id probably take a wagon next time...Still worth it, but definitely not as convenient...

Great Lakes Diving Tour in a week

I agree there may be other great wrecks around, but where else in Ontario do they have multiple boats (up to 10 boats) going out to 20 wrecks, and some great geological dives, with lodging only steps (literally) from the marina? Please share anywhere similar, I haven't found them.

Great Lakes Diving Tour in a week

we book all our weekends for the season, like NOW. Kelly @ diversden is great to work with, and we try to coordinate our trips with their special events/charters. We've become regulars, and couldn't be happier about that. We usually do a bunch of walk-on charters, but also go on shop trips...

Great Lakes Diving Tour in a week

I'd spend the entire time in Tobermory. You need way more than a weekend there, there's more than 20 wrecks to dive. 1 visit isn't going to do it.

Great Lakes Diving Tour in a week

Tons of old wooden wrecks, great visibility, a superb dive operation running a bunch of boats, walk-ons available, the Arabia, the Forest City, The Niagara II, proper fills, the staff are all real divers, depths to over 150 ffw if desired, etc... the list goes on and on. Read some threads...

    Scubacuba reviews?

I've got a couple friends who have gone on this trip. They've pretty much said the same as jvanostrand. great value, but it's Cuba, so don't expect luxury. The diving was really good, and thats all that really matters. My wife and I plan on going at some point. The price is hard to beat...
