Titanic tourist sub goes missing sparking search

When was the last time you heard of a bunch of billionaires trapped in a lost sub operated by a game-boy controller, possibly spending their last few moments gazing at the bow of the Titanic, with air supply rapidly dwindling? Box office suspense sci-fi thrillers don't hold a candle to this one.

Titanic tourist sub goes missing sparking search

Maybe wait on the offensive memes until the window of survival has passed and there's no way they could be gasping on their last breaths while bolted into a tin can either bobbing on the surface possibly seeing rescue craft in the distance or planes overhead, or staring at the bow of the...

    Bred can't hear you.

    What's wrong in this picture?

Well not that it's "wrong" persay, but not typical. Two of the divers appear to be missing their lower appendages.

Which faucet? There's one open on the Titanic? I've heard that rather amazingly, after all this time, the swimming pool is still full of water.

    Question Wrist Mounted SPG?

Just saw this old post since the thread was bumped by a recent post. I gotta say- there are two types of divers who use retractors: Those who have lost gear and those who are going to lose gear. I had my backup computer on a retractor on my left D-Ring. As I pulled myself along the tag line...

Titanic tourist sub goes missing sparking search

Worse if bobbing on the surface and not being found before the air runs out. At least if they were inside the wreck they'd have something to look at.

Titanic tourist sub goes missing sparking search

It's also about the suspense factor. Once it's been determined that there's no chance of survival because the breathable air ran out, it becomes a possible body recovery and people will rapidly lose interest until and unless the sub is found.

Titanic tourist sub goes missing sparking search

Of course it's not the "same" but close enough and not worth the trade off of being locked inside a metal tin can that is not rated for the depth it's headed for. I have a lingering, burning question. How do they take a crap inside such a small space? Does everyone just avert their eyes and...

Disintegrating Oceanic VT Pro Wrist Mount

The VT Pro plastic outer housing is prone to falling apart over time and the straps tend to suffer the same fate. Doesn't affect the operation of the computer and it doesn't seem to make it any more suceptible to damage. That much being said rubber bungee boots are the way to go. DSS made them...

Is that your opinion or do your friends tell you that? I'm working a theory.

Why are Mods anonymous and wont answer questions?

Thanks! You're my new best friend. Which isn't saying all that much given that I don't have any friends.

OceanLog for Oceanic VT Pro on 64-Bit Windows 11 Laptop

Subsurface provides support too (at no charge). The developer posts here, there is an online forum for questions and problems which is well staffed, and they reply directly to personal messages. In fact the developer was the one who showed me how to go in and manually edit the log file to fix...

OceanLog for Oceanic VT Pro on 64-Bit Windows 11 Laptop

What does Diving Log have, at $39 that Subsurface doesn't have, at $0? Also- Subsurface has another feature I'd like to make the threadstarter aware of in case he hasn't figured it out. Subsurface offers a free Cloud account. In addition to having the logbook file stored locally on your PC...
