Vessel Firebird LOB in Egypt sinks

I heard many of the Egypt Red Sea Liveaboards are updating their itineraries to add new routes to dive on the previously sunk Egypt Red Sea Liveaboards.

    Suggestion Minimum posts to post

You sound like the sort of person who rudely nbusts in on a conversation other people are having and without taking a minute to understand the content starts spewing a bunch of nonsense that no one wants to listen to.

    Palm Beach Dive Thread

When I was in SE Florida last week me and a buddy had some time to spare so we signed up for an intercoastal cruise with Flying Lady Boat Tours. It's a small pontoon boat, holds maybe 6-8 people, and there were four of us. Nice way to burn a couple of hours. The Captain narrated mot of the way...

Diver in travel group kept running out of air and sharing on every dive?

Definitely weird and potentially unsafe. Even worse is no one points it out and makes suggestions to rectify it. I'm guessing this is a large person who could use a larger tank.

Diving the Fort Lauderdale wreck trek in April 2025

I've done those and yes it's a stretch to do all of them without propulsion but I just managed it last time I was there.

    Blue Heron Bridge Trolls III

Unfortunately, sea creatures don't appear upon request. You get what you get. Follow the snorkel trail and pay attention around the wrecks and under ledges. I was there a few days ago and saw an Eagle Ray for the second time in as many visits and a mid size loggerhead in the vicinity of the...

Diving the Fort Lauderdale wreck trek in April 2025

I had a pleasant dive this morning with Sea XP off Fort Lauderdale. The boat is a large flat stable pontoon vessel that probably holds upwards of 2 dozen divers comfortably but today there were about half that many with plenty of room to spread out. We dropped on the Tracy which is large and...

Is certification necessary for shallow water diving?

That's like saying why pay a driving instructor to tell you to turn the wheel and step on the gas.

    Key Largo Dive Operator

Really, wow. 99.9% of divers hate snorkelers, who knew? Please provide a link to your source or upload a copy of your research showing how you arrived at such specific numbers.

I forget exactly when I took those videos but if there are fish on there it's mine.

Titanic tourist sub goes missing sparking search

Years ago the descendants had rigged the life boat davits in such a way that they could act as a sort of crane assembly to lift the partially air filled wreck from the substrate but they lacked the circuitry to operate them. Until they discovered Stockton's discarded Play Station controller in...

Titanic tourist sub goes missing sparking search

Yes its true most of the descendants are living in the larger piece but plans are under way to re-unite the two sections and weld them together prior to the "Day of the Big Ascent". Only those sufficiently trained can swim between the bow and stern sections while carrying tools and supplies...

Titanic tourist sub goes missing sparking search

The Titanic descendants have found a way to get a pump going using materials scrounged from the wreckage and fuel they found in undamaged storage tanks. Over the years they've gradually been creating more and more pockets of air, gradually filling the structure and it's only a matter of time...

Titanic tourist sub goes missing sparking search

He can be the leader of the group of Titanic descendants who welcomes the 4 Titan survivors to their new underwater world and shows them untold secrets of the great ship.

Titanic tourist sub goes missing sparking search

Naturally. After a frantic swim, the sharks take out Stockton Rush just as the others make it to the safety of the air pocket having successfully evaded the feeding frenzy. He tries to fight them off with the game controller but it only buys him a few more seconds.

Titanic tourist sub goes missing sparking search

Given the quality of some of the B rated sci-fi scuba flicks in recent years, I'm seeing a real thriller where they realize the sub is breaking up, they pull the emergency release hatch, exit the sub and start swimming for the Titanic getting out of range of the blast just as the sub implodes...
