DMs and instructors, what C-Card do you typically present when on a charter for your own personal diving? I’m curious if you avoid presenting as a “professional” while not operationing in that capacity.
Smaller tanks will return higher SAC rates as SAC is a measure of PSI per minute usage rather than volume. If the two of you are using different size or pressure rated tanks, SAC is not a good measure for comparison between the two of you.
I log my RMV for each dive as SAC is not particularly useful if you use more than one tank size at any point in your diving life. It also makes it easier when discussing gas consumption with others.
I cringed every time he said “tech look”. This isn’t diving cosplay. The setup should be suited to your diving goals. It’s not for looking cool at your local quarry.
