That is a pretty cool vid. I have no idea how subs work in terms of pressure. I'd love to hear what others have to say. Logically I'd think that they would have to be pressurized above the ambient pressure to keep from imploding, but how knows.

Brand new, you can get a little gas powered one that will fill SCUBA tanks, not tanks for cascade systems, for $3400. I bet in your neck of the woods you could find some good used ones though and I couldn't even tell you costs. I bet it wouldn't be a bad investment to have on the boat. Ask...

Oddly I've never told anyone to keep their arms crossed or tucked to keep from touching anything. I told them to cross their arms in order to stop swimming with their arms to help their SAC or RMV. Have to remember to add the not touching any thing! Good tip!

What is the significance of level 1 up to 32% EAN and level 2 up to 40%? Does it have something to do with the MOD of EAN32 is right around recreational diving limits?

If you have any interest in moving on to Dive Master, look at what specialties are required for that as a guide. Off the top of my head, PADI requires as a pre-requisite Night and Limited Vis, Deep and Navigation.

Typically a lot of computers that are liberal on the first dives are more conservative on the repetitive dives and visa versa.

They done more studies and tested a lot of models in the last 20 years. Conservative isn't a bad thing.
