"Ladies Dive Weekend" Details Are In!

Yup Yup. That's what I was thinking to. I'll find a different font change the wording, and get it re-posted. I can't wait till . . .well, till when ever it is . . .:D

"Ladies Dive Weekend" Details Are In!

No begging required. I was going to send you a copy of the pm with the S.S.D.s and other info in it, but I uh. . .umm...deleted it. Guess I was in a cleaning frenzy and deleted *everything* in my inbox the other day. I'm 99.99995% sure what they were, but just to make sure, I'll...

    ISOSAD - It's back...

Lol . . it's 'cause we're all PADI - we were taught to kneel on the ground :) (Okay, sorry 'bout the PADI bashing. Don't hate me now. Actually I think only one person there was PADI.) I tried to go in between hovering above the bottom and resting on it. But after the first ten minutes...

    ISOSAD - It's back...

No dry suit = no dive :( Depends on the quarry, I think. Some of them are still open for ice divers or others that like it cold. I'll stick to my once a month pool dives. (Had one earlier in Feb. There was a ScubUNO game, but *gasp* I didn't play 'cause I was trying out my underwater housing...

ISOSAD- International Semi-Organized ScubUNO Association of Divers

The binder rings are annoying to deal with. Most games I've been playing we have had a "dealer" to pass around the draw cards to save time with the constant opening and closing of the binder rings. The boxes may work better. Or keeping with the punched cards, how about a flat bottom surface...

    how many people are certified?

How about this? http://www.nysgextension.org/underwater/underwfiles/scubareport2.html "Recreational scuba diving is a rapidly growing component of the marine recreation and tourism industry. In 1991, Fishman reported that there were more than 4 million certified Scuba divers in the United...

    RAW Support enabler for A620 / A610 / S3IS / S2IS

I might play around with it a bit if I get some free time.... I have an A620. I'm not that picky about my photos at this point, so I'd probably not get much benefit out of having the extra data that the RAW files would give me. And I'm pretty sure I'd get annoyed at having to re-load the...

    Dog Name

I always thought it was neat when people named pets after characters in books, people in history, musicians, etc., but thought it was a little corny to name them after family members. Don't know why I make the distinction, I just do. So while I think it's a little odd to name the dog after...

"Ladies Dive Weekend" Details Are In!

Sounds like the pink one is a go. I like getting wet too, so I'll change the text, play around with the font some, and re-post it. Once it seems like every one approves, I can provide larger images in what ever format is needed for printing. Did we want to use the same design for the patches...

    My first table tennis lesson

The lessons will pay off.... I have a boss that is big in to table tennis. Plays a couple times a week. Knows where all the clubs are when he goes out of town. Has championship match on tape. He gets upset when we call it ping pong, so of course, we always do :D

I have never heard of a team doing this ...

True enough - I'm sure there's tons of details that are missing. The destruction is the interesting part, so that's what the focus of the story is on. It's just kind of amusing to think of all these people out there blowing up the ice. It makes sense to get the ice broken up so it's easier to...

I have never heard of a team doing this ...

Lol... I live in Lima in Allen County and this is the first I heard about it... Unfortunately, this is par for the course on how things are handled around here. :shakehead Hopefully, there was more thought put in to it than it sounds like...

"Ladies Dive Weekend" Details Are In!

I'm all for using another diver as the source of the shirts - we still got plenty of time to explore the different options and get more input on the design. I actually like the pink one more too - and I'm not a big "pink" person. I think I own maybe one piece of clothing thats pink, lol...

"Ladies Dive Weekend" Details Are In!

Okay . . .here's a couple of possibilities for tee shirt ideas. I was thinking an image on the front with a saying on the back such as: What happens at Gilboa stays at Gilboa. All work and no dives makes Jane a dull girl. The building on the second one is an attempt at the "tower"...

Transferring photos directly to an iPod.

Nope, but if you want to clean off your memories cards and have an iPod anyways, it will store them and you can then transfer them to your computer to view at a later date. A lot easier than dragging a laptop around. If you don't have an iPod already, it's definitely worth looking into other...

Transferring photos directly to an iPod.

I'm used the camera connector thing as well - any newer camera should have the correct protocols to work. Be warned, it really uses up the ipod's batteries with the transfer though, so be sure to have a full charge before you start. I forget what size card I normally used when I did the...
