    Tipping....how much do you tip?

Bare 7mm Arctic Full Mens Suit reviews

I'm considering purchasing this suit. There are several sites including leasurepro who have this listed for $189.00 with free shipping. Does anybody have any reviews on the suits as far as comfort, reliability, fit, ease of dressing/undressing etc. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks, Matt

Need a warm water suit for a fat guy!

Try the Henderson Gold Tytanium Hyperstretch. The stuf is so stretchy it will probably get on just about anybody. The problem that you are going to have is any suit that will fit you comfortably is going to almost certainly be to long. You will have to look for sizes like 3xl-short which i'm not...

In truth it's all about having an expectation of privacy. Anything that you post out on the internet to a site like myspace you have no expectation of privacy, therefore that information can be obtained and used against you by people like these. These sites contain "Public Profiles" which means...

While I agree with you 100% on that particular subject the article posted was about a woman being denied her earned teaching degree because she had a picture posted on myspace of herself in a pirate costume at a halloween costume. Personally I do not think the problem is myspace. I believe...

C4 eLED or C8 eLED Plus?

I honestly never compared it to another light before and after a dive however the battery burn time is 10 hours on high so if his light was significantly dimmer at the end of the dive he may have had old batteries in there. I use a fresh set on every dive, I take the used ones and power my kids...

C4 eLED or C8 eLED Plus?

That's kind of what I figured - I mean how fragile can they make a piece of gear that's going to be banged around all the time. The funny thing is when I was looking at it at my LDS the guy was telling me the same thing - The light gets dropped all the time and they never have any problems, he...

C4 eLED or C8 eLED Plus?

I dont know about either of those 2 but I recently went through all the evals etc on lights and purchased the "Princeton Tek LED Lightpack" which has a primary, backup, locator and a couple of Lanyards to hook it all up with. I think I made a great buy considering the price I paid and the fact...

    Pros/Cons of different wetsuits

So I'm ultimately looking to buy a drysuit but since I cant justify the cost for the ammount of diving i'm doing (And I dont really have the cash right now anyhow) I'm looking to buy a more suitable wet suite. I will be diving in New Jersey and the water temp will be at best in the 50's so I...

    Much respect.

It's my understanding that the urge to breath is triggered by a build up of CO2 and when you hyperventilate it sort of "Cleanses" your lungs of CO2 so that your body does not get the urge to breath in as quickly. Be carefull with that and reserve it's use for emergency situations. It is not...

Trying to have fun with a bad situation

I think you will find Key West to be less expensive and more laid back from my personal experience. As far as hotels go you will find more chain hotels in the ft. lauderdale area and more smaller inn or resort style hotels in the keys. I also find that the keys have so many great ways to just...

    Rescue Diver: Day 1,2,3

I have not done rescue diver yet, but I did a course awhile back for a lifeguard/rescue training program where they did similar stuff with having to drag struggling paniced people from the water etc.. I can understand instructors trying to simulate a real paniced person but my instructor was...

    Staying in Orlando...close diving

Has anybody done this, is it worth the $140? I'm leaving for Orlando Sat. and if it's worth the $ I might just do the dive.

Best island to dive: St. Maarten, Barbados, St. Lucia?

of those I have dove in Barbados and St. Lucia - Either is beutifull although I went off a boat in Barbados and a shore dive in St. Lucia. The dive I did at St. Lucia was a marine preserve by the Piton's and I was a little annoyed about some of there rules - IE: Could not dive with a knife, or...

Dive Watch Displayed on Mini Scuba Tank?

I ordered it but it has not come yet. I'll let you know how it works out. It's funny because for the last 6 month's or so I have been wearing a super thin watch that weighed just about nothing. I'm wearing this now and it feels like I strapped a dive weight to my wrist in comparison... I wonder...

Dive Watch Displayed on Mini Scuba Tank?

I've had it done 3 times and never had it sent to citizen - My warranty is long gone anyhow. I've never taken it down past 90 feet but above that I've never had a problem with water penetration. If you actually were to take it apart and see how it's sealed (which I have seen) it's basically a...

    What's the most efficient fin?

I use ScubaPro Twin Jets and I've always loved them. I noticed a huge difference after I tore my ACL and had to have reconstructive surgery on my knee - The Split fins for me are deffinately less work to swim with.
