Certainly most of the Aeris ones do and a few other I have come across do as well. I presume it's too keep you shallow on your second dive when it's unsure of your mix because then the alarms start to trigger when you hit around 60ft. If it defaulted to air and you were on nitrox 36 you'd go...
Many of the computers on the market will default to 50% nitrox mix on your 2nd dive if you don't re-enter the FO2 in again. It seems the OP is annoyed by that which is fair enough I think and he is looking for a computer that won't be as much hassle, one he can set and not constantly have to...
That's true, but to me it is an exercise in figuring out what's best without being swayed by money. There are plenty of best value computer threads out there. Can you honestly say if you walked into a dive shop with no price tags on display and the owner says pick a computer any computer it's on...
He should be fine if he has a good wetsuit, the current there keeps you working which helps! Personally if I am diving wet I have never gone with less than 7mm, and I usually add a hooded vest.
Even if that's the case there are still much nicer options if it was a money no object proposition. Something like a HW Frog or a Liquivision Kaon would meet those needs with much better screen quality etc.
Personally I just bought an X1, I like the shearwater's too but I much preferred the...

Computer is sold.
Mods, I couldn't lock the thread (it said i didn't have permission) so if you could be so kind and do it for me.
No problem, and for what it's worth, if you can afford it I recommend trying to future proof your gear as much as you can afford. I know I wish I did, I'm now trying to sell a bunch of stuff because I too could not envisage a time where I might need more than a 3 gas nitrox computer, or a light...
It is not, the Fischer connection is for live ppo2 monitoring connected to an o2 cell reading what is actually in your loop. The fixed set point is so that you can use it as back up on rebreather and bases it's calculations on a fixed set point that you enter on it. For example I run my CCR at a...
You might have a leak somewhere. Put it in the tub underwater and see if it bubbles anywhere. Then aquaseal the leak. I had the same thing happen on my old OMS wing too.
Wish I'd seen this last year, flooded my GoPro2 last year in Bahamas (also sharks oddly enough). GoPro told me to pound sand, wouldn't even entertain repair at my expense, I now have a GoPro3 which is yet to flood but I don't intend on taking it shark diving either!
There listed on here in separate thread, $80 plus $20 shipping in Canada and the lower 48. They're in good shape, scuffs from normal diving, probably have 30 dives on them.
If your pony bottle is sidemounted instead of clipping the top bolt snap off to a d ring you could bungee it instead, this would free up some room and probably help keep it nice and tight against your body too. You could also try this mod to your light cable, it will allow it to dangle and have...
