Ok I'm just wondering if anyone has this problem and possibly has a solution. I have the White's Fusion Fit L/XL
Basically I am too short for my drysuit or have too small of feet. It fits perfectly and I love it to death in all but one area. The problem is the bottom part where the boots...
Alright maybe I see a different side of all of this, but I'm gonna say that I would rather dive with an American than most Europeans. At least they tend to pay some attention to what you say. I deal with europeans daily and have more or less formed these stereotypes. Of course there are...
Alright as a farewell to CA I will be on a 2 tank dive on the raptor on the 19 and a three tank dive on the 21....anyone want to be my buddy?! Yeah I know I can find one on the boat but 1 I like being prepared and 2 I always love meeting new SB peeps!
Edit:Both dives are discounted cause dive 1...
Break 150 Dives (In 1 year)
Dive somewhere warm
Get my MSDT
Certify at least 1 DM
Dive the Red Sea (looks like I'm going to Sudan in Feb with work so that might happen)
Dive in more countries than 2012 (I'm at 4)
As a brief half hijack. The shop I was working for this summer was a MESS (that is putting it extremely politely). I was out on a charter as a DM and luckily this situation didn't happen to my group, but I did suffer some of the effects. Basically what happened what our shop never ever asked for...
While that may be true in the US, It's not true in Europe. Especially in scuba court cases that waiver gets pulled out and the whole thing just becomes irrelevant.
All my students are in wetsuits. We don't have the drysuit option. Granted the Mediterranean isn't AS cold as say the Pacific. I think we're at about 17 and 15 right now. (63 ish and 58ish) The lake we teach in is at 15 at the moment so it's about the same. Moral of the story being my students...
If you're trying to squish your boobs into a gel bathing suit and then pull on a wetsuit and then get said wetsuit off without looking the top....it impedes comfort.
Wear a normal bathing suit to dive, at least a normal bikini if not a one piece suit. It's much more comfortable and convenient...
Ok but really, the followup questions are "what lipstick stays on underwater" and "what hairstyle looks the cutest underwater". If looking good is your main concern...find a new activity.
I have not been able to find ANYTHING good on wetsuits...my little brother says sport chalet was having a HUGE sale on everything and marking their suits down as part of it, but that's all I know.
Anyone have anything they're trying to get a good price on? Or wondering if anyone has ideas where to get something they are looking for? Or know if anyone has any idea where I can get a decent sale on Nike running shirts online?
Can you pull me off please.
Are we going down later?
Have you ever seen Nemo?
Are we going to see Nemo?
OH MY GOD that dive was terrible! There was only this one old boat down there and (insert collection of marine life here)....
I have 2 pockets in my current BCD and they're bloody useless. I can't get anything in or out of them while I'm diving. I prefer to clip it all on when I dive. As for what BCD I use, I am in love with my Mares Keila. I also looked at the aqualung pearl, but I wasn't a huge fan of the wrap around...
Are there going to be any sharks on this dive?
Have you ever seen a shark?
What do I do if I see a shark?
Lady in the shop:OOOO I wan't to try that it looks like fun! Do I have to know how to swim to go diving?
Russian Instructor:No you just need to know how to breathe....
Some jerk of a...
I see a bit of a point to both sides. Short story I think you get out of it what you put in.
Personally I got certified as a kid, and years later returned to diving. Absolutely fell in love with it and knew that I wanted to teach. I went from AOW to DM in 4 months and 2 months later passed my...
