I should imagine there's a difference between commercial fisheries, and a couple of guys hunting for themselves.
You don't see many commercial fishermen using spearguns either! ;)
Yeah..... I'm no hunter, but logically I can't really think of how you'd do it and NOT end up looking like what was going on in the video.
Seemed to me someone was simply collecting lunch - not torturing some animal just for the hell of it.....
People aren't always that realistic about where...
OK.... I don't hunt when I'm diving, but I know many do and have nothing against it. I certainly eat most everything that comes out of the sea! :D
Could someone who knows about this stuff have a look at the video posted in this thread...
I think it's totally the mother's decision if she wants to accept the risks or not. It doesn't matter what they are relative to other risks.
If a woman wants an abortion, and is refusd it, and then dies through complications of the pregnancy/birth process, how fair is that? Where is the...
So why is it just the "community" for business, and the individual for abortion? If An individual is discriminated against by a business it harms them. Why shouldn't there be protections against that?
Conversely, in many cases being forced to have a baby can harm the mother, even cause her...
Mike - Why do you think that it's OK for the government to tell a woman what she may or may not do with her body..... but it's not OK to tell an employer what they may or may not do with their business?
That seems rather inconsistent to me.
I've signed it Larry.
You do realize that you might end up eating little fish if this works, right?
But yeah..... over fishing is a huge problem most places. Can't they make fish farms there like the Japanese do?
Mock as you will...... you know full well what i was saying.
It might "seem"....but that's according to you. If it's not viable, it's not yet individually living. A wart can grow. Are you telling me because it's growing i can't remove it without "taking life". Hell - by that definition I take...
In some situations it IS a good thing, but it doesn't necessarily imply that someone who is pro-abortion would always think that.
Abortion isn't a particularly pleasant experience that sees loads of women lining up to have just for fun......
I'm definitely pro-abortion and a woman's right to choose. In the UK the laws are based on viability of the embryo. It's not taking life if a life can't survive on it's own. If you could remove embryos from an unwilling womb and they can survive themselves, then abortion becomes virtually...
I'd guess he means "removed from a discussion".
Can happen when a Moderator, rightly or wrongly, decides that you're causing trouble or whatever in a thread.
Have you been removed from a thread?
It depends on how you look at it. You seem to be compartmentalising things to do with family planning. I see it as all one interrelated issue. Whether it's about contraception or abortion, it's about empowering women to gain some control over their own destiny - which in many places is still...
I don't know...sometimes it isn't. Do you agree with abortion where someone has been raped?
Why has this got to do with supposed "fault"?
Is that the old "we're all sinners" thing again?
Born guilty?
