Yeah....but driving a car isn't a sport. How about comparing it to sky-diving deaths, or other "extreme" sports? You sure as hell don't get 90 people a year dying playing football, or cricket, or baseball etc etc.

It's can actually be pretty hazardous retrieving live munitions from the sea. They can be extremely unstable, especially if there has been any corrosion and seepage.

Not much different to sky-diving. Scuba is only like that if nothing goes wrong. It is actually pretty extreme, in that it doesn't take much in the way of something happening to produce a world of trouble. Normal sport is something more like football IMO. Not many people get killed playing...
