This becomes a difficult topic.... I have a SP MK25/550 reg that free flowed on me in 38 degree water.....others have them and dive them in even colder water without issue..... As far a service cost I don't see that here with LDS..... Just my thoughts.....M

One of the few regulators that I have never ever seen free flow in cold water..... Prefer the side exhaust - easy to fill lift bags and DSMBs with even taking the reg out of your mouth...... If there is a first stage failure or IP creep, the second stage has a relief valve on the hose so...

It depends on the Dive Op....... I have used some great rental gear in Maui, Spain, Italy and the Red Sea.....I have bought former rentals from my LDS for my family...... If i would dive with an op, I would use their rental gear......biggest issue for me is the boat, the crew and breathing...

I have never used the H oral inflate, but I have heard good things about them.... My Carter look very similar to the Buddy SMB, just 6 foot tall vice 1.4 M..... I keep 30 feet of line on my finger spool and normally deploy it while waiting at 15 feet....helps pass the time..... So my...
