When you look at the Zeagle web site is does not look like a plain BP/W - it got a lo more stuff on it....
Hence my comment about a pure BP/W...for me simpler is better.....

Streamlining can be done without AI or octo inflator - it is more about correct hose length and routing......
No matter what you do with hoses (or number of hoses) from a hydrodynamic perspective you will still be a brick underwater - you are far better off moving slowly to ease this...
Splitlip you have good point this was from a few years ago - after diving Turks and Caicos with sharks in the open I would reconsider.....
The picture was more to show the rig and computers....since as a photographer I am not in a lot of pictures...:)

Take a look at this - of course it is not a SP Sol but a dive computer none the less.....

I use 8 lbs with a 3 mil and AL80 - putting a 4 lb weight in a pocket that can hold 15lb seems out of whack......:)
Plus for trim I have my 2 x 4lbs on my top tank band in two XS Scuba pouches....
My warm water rig is a 18lb wing with AL BP and hog harness.....

I have two compasses a old school wrist unit and a little bitty one on my computer wrist strap.....I take the "big" one for real navigation while the little one is perfect for simple "which way to shore or boat" navigation.......which is 90% of my navigation.....
It was made by SP but it is no...
Well as I mentioned before not a fan of AI......big fan if KISS - so its an SPG for me.....
The purpose of a computer is to give you depth, time and calculate NDL in "real" time......also Nitrox is nice for some dives....all the rest is just bells and whistles and things to go wrong....the more...
Seems like a "big" system for a small wing....the pockets look massive on the Express Tech.....
You can get much smaller lighter easier to travel with pockets than the Zeagle ripcord system......
Are you going for lightweight and easy to travel with?
With the 5 mil and AL80 how much ballast...
A $1300 computer and a wrist watch - seems like both ends of the instrument spectrum......
Get two Zoops for $550 and be done with it......
M
With the Sol if you need to use your "redundant" watch your ending the dive anyway since you also lost your air pressure...I guess the watch will help...
24 lbs of lift with 30 lbs of weight capacity?
I would go simpler with a pure BP/W........
Sol computer - I would go with a much simpler unit which is more than enough for rec diving (buy two so you have redundancy)...
My thoughts......M
I would also skip AI and go with a SPG
I would swap the Cobra for a wrist computer, I think most find it easier to use in the long run....
I think when you go tech you will be buying a complete new rig, keep this rig for your non-tech diving......
