It wouldn't suprise me in the least. They have a c-card for everything else! ;)

    improving leg strength

Along with what has been mentioned, try some excercises that work the glutes specifically (that's your butt muscles). If you use good finning technique, you use your glutes a lot. Another oft overlooked muscle is the soleus. It's the small muscle under your large calf muscle (gastrocnemius)...

    The very best dive site...

when people talk about "if money and time were no object" and assume that people would prefer to go somewhere other than the U.S.? I mean diving is sooooooo much more than just tropical resorts, ya know?

OK...how many of you have done this?

I can honestly say that this has never happened to me. However, I would have paid money to see the sudden bolt to the surface. ;)

    The very best dive site...

You completely left off North America with the exception of the PNW and Mexico. There is world class diving to be found in Florida (and not just the keys), the Gulf Coast off TX and LA (the Flower Gardens) and California (kelp forests, artificial reefs, etc). Corrugated hoses

This gets my vote. Especially with oral inflation, it would have to bend around 180 and not collapse. The corrogation accomplishes this nicely.

    Diver Identification

I'll have to print off and add it to my fish cards and birding books. I wonder how long it will take me to identify all "species" listed?

    Edmonton divers

I've never dove it but I hear that the Edmonton scuba park is pretty nice, depending on tide and vis, of course. You oughta give it a try. :thumb: ---------------------- Oops! I got my city names mixed up. I was thinking Edmonds, WA (near Seattle), where there is indeed a...

New toys for a new season?

I got enough toys (at least for the moment) I just need time and opportunity to use them. :thumb:

    Reg breathing on surface

I'd have to agree with most of what folks have said so far. It's mainly just a matter of learning to relax more. This comes with experience as you get more dives under your weight-belt and get more comfortable in the water and with the gear. :thumb:

    Where did you buy it

So, if I come visit you, will you take me to your LDS? :)

    Wanna play ?

I think you're mixing things up a litle, Jay. Darwin sailed on the HMS Beagle earlier in the 19th century and was studying land animals, not marine animals.
