A bunch of info here including the model numbers if you can find them

I can not say i have ever seen them used in any applications around here. I could see how a new diver could see the value of it however it is nothing but yet another failure point on you gear.
Especially on a Stage/deco bottle which would be primed at the start of your dive and shut down...
True, Back in the day they worn Lead shoes and walked on the reefs does not mean it is still acceptable in todays society :D
What good is it if your spending your diving fighting your poor trim.
I knew a local diver here use to carry his hand held GPS unit in a waterproof case and would pop it to the surface with a small amount of air and then pull it back down again and it would record the last known coordinates, which he would then save into his favorites to find the location again...
I would be curious to see how you trim out with it, I mean i am sure its great for freedivers.. which i might add what are they using to inflate it with?
But how will it hold up to the weight of your tank and your plate on your back, I understand your saying you don't inflate your wing at...
Damit you needed to be more specific... its the "Home" key on the keyboard :D I spent 5 mins looking for a home button on the bottom of the page here :D Good thing its too early in the morning for me... Guess i should have clued in when you said "Key".
Yup as long a you pay for the itouch upgrade, i think i paid like $5 for the upgrade allows you to use the app store and install the Ideco Pro which is nice to have. Pick up a housing for the itouch and you can toss it in your pocket and take it diving :D
Jdeco is available for Blackberries.. I use it once in a while.. Prefer V planner but it works in a tight squeeze.
JDeco - Dive Decompression Software for JAVA Mobile Devices (Buhlmann and VPM-B)
Yea after he got the hint i was good on weight... And got on the boat... should have seen the DM's face when i pulled out my regs with a 7 foot hose attached, and told my new buddy to be for the day that if he has a OOA situation with out hesitation he is to just yank the working reg from my...
So you are going to dive the backplate and HOG system minus the wing when you dive? And just looking for a lift device as a just incase kind of thing?
If that is the case and you don't want or need a BCD why not just clip off a liftbag with a OPV to control the accent with?
As said there are many options out there. I prefer like many to use Vplanner.
Some days you just don't feel 110% so its nice to be able to adjust your conservatism in order to make up for days your not 110% or if you know your going to be working it a little harder than normal.
Programs...
Yup, I spent a good 30 mins dealing with the manager of a dive op in Aruba when i showed up with my backplate and wing system... Then to try and tell them i did not need lead on the phone... lol He kept freaking out on me saying he would not let me dive with no lead as it would be unsafe...
Well the BCD is used for more than just holding air... Unless of course you carry your tanks in your hands :D and will no longer have the d-rings for that sausage gimic.
Have you considering going to a backplate and wing system. Tons of mobility, Very comfortable and you can put whatever size...
Pretty much, they come in all different shapes... just like our heads... its a matter of finding one that works for you. What would work great is if you could find a Dive shop with its own poool that you can test drive a bunch of their mask in. I know we have a local shop like that which...
Honestly pretty much every mask does the same thing.. lol Now you have Low profile and high profile masks, and then you have Silicone and rubber.
I prefer Silicone fits nicer, and prefer Low profile ( Close to the face ) I find it easier to clear when need be and diving in higher currents or...
