    Like any dive you need to measure out your risk and way them and decide is it worth it. At best diving a Po2 of 1.6 ( 21%) you would still be limited to 218 feet. So to awnser your question 220 feet okay... NO!

    Where abouts in Ontario are you? I can not comment on those regs as i have not dove them, however i find many up here prefer the Apex Ds4( first stage ) tX50 (second stage) combos. I dive them in our waters year round.

    Kevin, Black out or not you would still be able to see your PO2 displays, Many RB divers really like the shearwater dive computer and the new unit the preditor can be seen quite the distance in decent vis.
