there is a form you fill out with requirments you have to meet then its sent to one guy at padi to go over it he tells you what you need to change then you send it back in and if he approves it then you have to pay your padi fee to become an instructor in it.

I don't disagree, My sidemount course was a 15 minute lecture followed by 3 skills in the pool. Less experenced divers get a long course, much like drysuit. If you have 600 dives before jumping into a drysuit my drysuit pool class usually takes about 10 minutes lol if you have far less...

if there was a 1-1 ration and both pros had pony bottles? you know what i mean? who knows it just seems that for the level of instruction Northwest offers id be surprised if it was instructor error. dive accidents happen all the time

Lets put it this way lets say everything was done correctly by the instructors and helpers and nothing could have been changed and the student died? Sometimes **** just happens, im not saying all dive accidents can't be prevented but sometimes they cant.
