Questions regarding White Manta.
I recently heard from a friend some stories regarding diving on the WhiteManta and wanted to see if they were true at all.
First: that there was an incident of a rebreather dive using a DPV that shot up from 30m to the surface
Second: The boat was...
Ok started trying it... put in a dive to 85meters and BT of 25mins .. it runs for the first 2 mins then locks up. this is when I have it in slow mode so I can see the changes in fast mood it races to the surface so fast I can't see what happened,.. is this normal?
Will look at it again later...
I've never gotten round to trying that as I work on a mac and it's for a PC, but today I'm going to give it a try .. now where is the one button on the PC. .. heehee
Lucky escape.. lets hope you were able to recover all the gear and belongings. Doesn't happen oftern but it does happen.. inssurance is for such times. (as are beers)
Thanks for the translation.. cool that you can do that.

quite scarry really ,.... not a luxuary transportation device .. doesn't mention any boyancy control systems, so if the motors went dead .. it would be sinking fast ...
I'm planning on renting a second regulator set and a larger wing for my deco course. I think it makes sense to try if as I'm not sure how much I will dive doubles, I may just use stage bottles .. the fun of diving :-)
one word - rent
I rented gear for the first year of diving before I bought anything (well I did buy a mask and fins)
After a year, I rented a BP + W and took it on a trip, did 10 dives with it and like it, returned home and purchased one. I love it and will not go back to Jacket BC unless...
Thanks Darlene, lovely colour - sure won't loose that computer. So the button rods are those raised bits in the centre of the round areas at the bottom. And they press down? Yes they look quite small. So I guess they only move up and down a fraction.
thanks I think I understand it a bit...
Huge congrats.. fantastic effort ... many of us only know you as a diver... but then many of us have secert lives in the normal world .. and as you have proved - many excel above water as well as under.
Have a great day :-)
