Hi! I'm from the Philippines and no problem. I usually use Amazon pay for my purchases and no problem so far. It might be a local problem in Malaysia (blocked?). Try using your phone.
I had the "privilege" of going through my Tec course using materials from both agencies. The PADI materials were much better from the learning/teaching standpoint using educational concepts. Obviously they were written with the guidance of a teaching professional. (Note: I am not commenting on...
I still have my old Welch Allyn scope. I never knew that there were digital ones. I have not used it for a very long time since I switched specialties. :-)
There are actually weights designed to go into the STA, particularly Halcyon ones. So, pouring lead directly should be no problem, assuming you take precautions of course since lead fumes are toxic.
Big apple has a blackboard in front of their restaurant announcing the dives.
On Verde, it depends on when the current starts ripping or when you are low on gas from fighting the current. Dives can be longer if the current is slow or non-existent.
@Snoweman There was actually a recent Windows update that displayed a message that your windows is not genuine at the right bottom corner near the time/date display on the system tray. Is that what you are getting?
You need a "thinnish" (8-9 mm thickness) 34 mm wrench to remove the diaphragm clamp from the body of the XTX200. You also need a hook spanner with a round pin (same goes for all the Apeks 1st stages). The rest are standard hand tools.
I on the other hand, have an unused A clamp XTX200 black pearl and would like to change to DIN. Problem is I live in the Philippines. Shipping via EMS is a gamble and using other carriers like UPS or DHL would be the same price as a new converter.
That will be an 010 for the 1st stage end and another 010 for the 2nd stage end. The 2nd stage end is quite tricky. An o-ring pick with a looped end is quite helpful.
You can start by slinging an Al80 and getting the "feel" for it. The reg and stage kit, and more importantly the bolt snaps, are still yours. I have a few funny but infuriating anecdotes about bringing a scuba cylinder on board an airplane.
Just bring a a stage kit and your pony reg. Rent an Al80. Fill it to 110-120 bar so it is neutral. No baggage/security hassle and it's like you are diving with nothing (weight-wise).
