2019 should be a good year :) In april or may its a LOB at the Redsea. Half june its intro to cave. September or oktober a week to Malta. And there should be Advanced Nitrox somewhere aswell. Inbetween all of that there should be a lot of local diving.

Isn’t it safer to put your computer on the mix with the lower o2 concentration? That way you only have to keep An Eye on your MOD but atleast you are safe with your NDL?

The agency might matter. Most agency’s give minimal requirements, instructors might add stuff. I can imagine that a Naui instructor that is also a Cave2 diver gives a different cave class then one who isn’t.

But in the summer its 30C to warm at the boat and the water is like boiling. The Red Sea is wonderfull to dive, the only sad part is the temperature.

You are wrong there... There are federations where its a obligation to have 2 first stages as dive leader. A isolator isn’t so a y valve is ok.

That’s the sad part, we only hear one side of the story. There is a change everything the ts says is true. There is also a change the instructor did hurt the ts her feelings and his story is way different. Most of the time in situations like this, the truth is somewhere in the middle.

I can imagine that you are frustrated when you have to call a dive for a stranger. If its for someone you know it will be different but still your face might give away some dissapointment. Its different in a emergency, but then its not realy calling a dive. Thats more like helping.

Don’t get me wrong, I will never use that spare air thing. But running out of air is something else I will never do, unless it’s due to a mechanical problem.

The opinion of a company that only makes 1 of the 2 types of suits, that the topic starter asked about, is a lot more trust worthy :)
