Maybe work at your weak points instead of compensating the lack of skills with weird gear?
Why would an instructor give you a C-card if his judgement says you aren’t ready and might be a danger for you and your buddy’s?
With a perfect dive profile the Zoop wasn’t that weird compared to a Perdix.
Take it into a cave with sawtooth profile and the difference is huge in what ever setting you are running it.
Its impossible to compare different algorithms and I don’t see why anyone would want to do it.
Without Covid-19 I would have done my normoxic course past spring, now I hope it will be spring 2021.
The main reason I want it is to be able to go down “the shaft” in Ressel.
In open water I think that the wrecks in Malta and in Italy(Portofino) are worth visiting.
They have a bad way of advertising the dive. It’s very easy to prevent getting hit since even with a tiny brain you will be smart enough to not take stuff, but threatening with violence is never ok...
Apart from that I do understand why they want divers that have control about their movement...
If you go to the more technical site you have to take some costs in to consideration. Replacing the bcd is quite cheap compared to other costs of gear and training.
It sucks to replace a good working bcd but for doubles a BP/W is way better, definitely when you start adding stages.
Look at the...
You do realise that being into deco isn’t an exact sience? The M-line is an estimate to be able so surface in a safe way. To be even safer people use the gf settings. If you set it to 75 you will be “in deco” once you go past that value.
Pretty sure there isn’t much difference in surfacing with...
If it’s to warm you can let some water in, if it’s to cold you have a problem. In October the water is really warm and nice but you might have some wind on the boat.
normally the depth is limited to 40m but most rec wrecks are at 30 or less.
that’s what i ment. I did visit places where people had a lot less but where they act differently. Also I don’t have a problem with them being so, their country their rights. I don’t like it so i don’t go sightseeing.
people always want to be so political correct...
It might be a language barrier but in my opinion I only did say my gf and I don’t like to go outside of the harbour in Egypte...
I have good friends who go there almost every month for a week. Everybody has a different tast, the world would be...
My gf has the same disease :)
If you mention it while booking they will pay attention and make sure you have something to eat as vegetarian. The crew is always friendly and they try but don’t expect to have a lot of choice.
We did 3 LoBs in Egypte, in 2 months we go for the 4th. Personally I...
Welcome Ripley, nice to see you that you did find the right way that fast. :)
Just admit it. Nobody likes the cold dark water but we need a reason to go eat the steak/Pavé. :)
Hi,
When diving warm clear water without wrecks I get bored easily, to prevent dozing off I take pictures.
So I’m a diver who takes pictures and not a photographer.
For about 2 years I use a Tg5 without flashes or lights. I press some buttons and sometimes I have really nice photos sometimes...
If you are on a budget I would try stuff before buying it.
I’m not diving that long, 3.5 years/350 dives, but I replaced everything already.
When I started I did buy everything right away. Today I still use my mask, compass and regs from when I started. It’s less budget friendly that way
You don’t need training for doubles, you do need training for valve drills and valve failures. See it like this, you don’t have redundancy without training. You don’t have that with a 18l ether so if you really need that much air you better take a double 12l or 80cuft.
Are you sure you need 18l...
