    welcome to the board. With my not so vast knowledge, I have never heard of one not registering out of water. aslong as its in range. but im sure someone on the board has one and can tell you for sure. you may want to post your question in the gear forum though. good luck.

    I'm interested in diving - any tips?

    if its a padi course there is a 200 meter swim and a 10 min float that you must complete to get your cert. but I have seen some pretty bad swimmers get through it as there is no time limit or correct way to do it.

    thanks for the reply, it sucks going to guam and might nt see a single wreck. im happy to dive at all but was really looking forward to atleast 1 wreck. Ohwell.

    Hey all, Im going to be in guam with three weekdays open to dive. I am hopeing to do atleast 1 day on some wrecks but cant seem to find anyone willing to schedule these. @mda they dont normally dive wrecks during the week so the only option they offer is a private charter and as a single diver...
