Superlyte27 I agree its sad that they have done this and I would hope that Mares will come around but I wonder as they now have SSI so you must wonder what will happen to them as well?
And ya Jon Dacor is now gone forever I fear and the only gear I find is used Jen had to retire her Dacor regs...
So I must ask why did Mares do away with Dacor after they got a hold of a once proud line? I had and still do have a lot of Dacor gear and it was good stuff and it seems all mares did was eliminate a rival. Please someone bring some light to this for me.
The now named Greater Ozarks Dive Society "Thanks Steve" will be having a club meeting on 19 March at Apple Blossom Brewing Compny 1550 E. Zion rd Fayetteville starting at 7:00pm so please come out & meet and great!
In answer that is why we are having a meeting so we can set bylaws and charter. We have ideas and a lot we want to see come about but that is how we are starting just by getting the diver's in the same room and get a buzz going and take it from their.
Hope this helps in some little way and good...
Ok folks in the North West Arkansas area a few friends are joining together to form a new dive club in our area. We would like to have any and all diver's come out and join us we have lots to talk about and would love to here your ideas for events and trips and get people diving!
As of right now...
No not yet Denise with Jordan said she would give me a good location when I get back next. If this is the plane I'm thinging of Jerry who has lived on and been a diver since the birth of the lake put it down many years ago and it kept moving around on him by a rival so he moved it one final time...
Thanks Nagel! I wonder how long its been their? I hunt cats all up and down that area and take class' out to the backbone and have never seen the thing before! Once again thanks I'll search for it this summer.
I found this and have struck out as to this wrecks location! If anyone can tell me were this might be on Norfork lake in Arkansas please share. The author of this video has not answered. Thanks! http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=0vRNKEyWymQ
The maps I have been making I do plan to share and I dont really know if I will charge as the information is out their but it is hard to find. I'll send you a few for Beaver and you can tell me what you think I like to share info on all kinds of diving.
And I have no issue with meeting new...
Good question: In answer I should be but most that know me will tell you I have a few screw's loose cause I normaly dive a 7mm year around! I do have a dry suit and it does make it a "bit" warmer but I am not real fond of dry suits so Like I said a few screw's loose!
So do you dive dry?
On...
I have been working on a map of dam site for the past few years and getting a count on what all is their and at what depth. So for this year I'm starting on Indian Creek and helo cove and a few other small areas I have hits on. Sounds like we need to meet and do a few dives. I also have a small...
Thanks guy's this does help I'll start my search this weekend I did a small dive a few weeks ago in the Indian creek park and all I found was a few training lines at the far west point were the new camp grounds are being put in. And the house boat is new, I wonder if the barge and house boat are...
Yes I do I'll try and get a better pic of my map for you. The map diversteve has posted is about like mine and is a good guide as well as the Google Earth photos he has posted. Ok this is my take on this dive so take it with a grain of salt haha! This is a boat dive as of right now the lake is...
I'm ready for another "GOOD" crack at the General Pike.....lets just say I liked the wreck but had way to many issues that day and would love to have another better go.
Just cause its their works for me.
But all also their are places that are not touched by divers like yourself and seem new and strange and all the best wrecks are deep. 30ft is sooooo limited and boring unless I'm hunting for fish but to each his own!
