At $900 I'm going to assume that includes the hooker and blow.

Question Too early to consider tec?

No. You want to talk to as many different people and shops as possible. Sticking with one shop is not a good idea. Earlier someone suggested to get in touch with Dave Caldwell/ Heather Knowles. That is who you should be talking to.

Question Too early to consider tec?

Way, way too early. Stop taking so many courses ( well except the drysuit thing. Thats important in Mass,) Just dive more within your current training limits Look at the fish. Look at stuff. Enjoy where you are now. Revisit the tech goals in 2 years.

    Tec Liveaboard

Truk and Bikini. I've been on a tech Bikini trip with Master in 2019 through BlueGreen and everyone (except one outlier) was on CC. Lately I've been booking through Dirty Dozen and they use Master. Sorb, He available (at a cost of course) and pretty much all of the divemasters were CC divers.

    Legality of "cave fills"

In the case where a steel cylinder exploded in Waterton Alberta some 30 years ago, it was determined that the cylinder was most likely over-pressurized because all of the cylinders present had their burst disks plugged and also the compressed had its' OPV plugged. Also it was documented that...

    Sending $ to USA

Wise can be a pain to set up, especially if it's a one-off. Paypal is much easier. When sending funds through Paypal tick off the "Friend/Family" box. I believe there are no fees on the receiver end if that is done.

    Sending $ to USA

I buy from the US quite often. Gear, trips, etc. I use Wise, Paypal, or credit card. Credit card whenever I can (stores like DiveGearExpress or DiveRightIn). I use Wise to send bigger amounts for trips and stuff. Paypal for places or people that don't take credit cards.

DIR- Generic How to choose bolt snap sizes?

Wet gloves in 36F water. Yeah, I'll get right on that. It sure would be nice to just wear 5mm gloves at those temps.

    PFO Testing in Canada

I went to my GP who got me a referral to a cardiologist. I didn't get the full TEE so I didn't need sedation and have the thing down my throat. I had the less invasive procedure; TTE (?). A buddy of mine also got a referral from his GP, etc. He did do the full TEE. Both of us showed negative...

    Airspeed Press update

Well that's sad. It's too bad his passing didn't get the recognition he deserved for his contribution to the tech community.

    Bank size?

Sounds legit. I run a bank of 4x3500 with a similar sized compressor. So far so good for fills for friends and family.

Question When do we speak of technical diving ?

Except when done in the most popular way you are usually on a single tank, tied to a rope that is being tended at the surface, and you are never more than a couple of minutes away from the exit.

Mike goes through the new Dive Talk Go

Travel for one. Like the Triton. If I had a lot of tropical trips in the future I might look at this.
