How does the SP warranty work, I know you are supposed to bring it in every year to keep the warranty, but is that a requirement? If for instance I do not bring it by one year would I run into problems later on? I am still new to the sport so for now definitely staying on the conservative...

Interesting, I was looking at purchasing a smartcom, the LDS does mostly scubapro, but was leaning away from it just because of the size and cost. If they are in fact being phased out along with all of the problems they are having sounds like best to just move along. Was this published anywhere...
