Also be sure to check at the Palace front desk re. ferry tickets. I seem to recall getting vouchers going back to Coz Palace after a day of cenote diving and visiting the Playacar Palace. Have fun!

The Tamrac backpacks are nice. I use a 3385 and fit my entire E-PL1, 2ea YS-90, BIG Blue focus light, trays, arms, etc. rig- plus batt's, charger, laptop, and more in it. When fully loaded it's quite heavy, and barely fits in some overheads, but I tend to push it a bit. The Thinktank products...

I use 2 YS-90 Auto's with an E-PL1, but with the internal flash and an HW digital adapter (optical). Since you don't have a flash, maybe the HW Bulkhead/converter would work? If you do ask them, please post the answer- I always thought it would be a clean solution even with a flash.

Will you calibrate each detector using "medcal grade rat turds"- available right next to your "cylinder of medical grade CO" and jalepeno compressor oil. Or, will you be calibrating with your proven "taste buds" method?
