Thanks for the info @Trailboss123 ! I think I will book Raptor then. Hopefully a few other folks do the same so we make it out! I'll be in touch as the dates get closer.
Alright all you SoCal divers...finally making it out to the best coast to do some diving the first two weeks of June. My wife will be attending a conference in LA during week one, so my plan is to rent a car and drive up to Ventura one of those days and check out the channel islands.

Yeah, I may have to turn to that. It's only this site that seems to be an issue for me. Pretty disappointing as I obviously used to enjoy browsing SB all the time!
Anything ever come of this? Scubaboard is mostly unusable for me now. No matter how many times I try to reload most threads, I get one of two "congratulations" pop up ads that hijack the site .
I've always wondered if this was the case. I've been thinking about trying to book a trip, but as a buddy-less diver in my 30s, I sort of suspected that most folks would be quite a bit older than me. Not that there is anything wrong with that, of course. Might be a great learning opportunity!

Interested in this as well. I've pretty much decided to commit to trying the kwark navy based on all the favorable reviews I've read as well as the ease of care and durability.
For anyone who has one, any idea on where to order one for shipping to the US? I've emailed shaw-tec with no response.
In Ft. Lauderdale, I think most if not all charters go out of Pompano. I used Pompano Dive Center last time I was down there. There's also great shore diving right off the beach in Lauderdale by the Sea.
Okay, that Beuchat Guardian board is actually pretty cool. Although I feel like it's so big you'd have to leave a buddy topside to tend the boat/keep your champagne chilled.
