Perdix silicone protector... where do i get one in the U.S.?

Maybe simply scuba would do a bulk order to the US and you could sell them here on the board. I'm sure you could find a couple dozen interested folks.

Thanks Dr. Bill! I looked into the Peace but unfortjnaunfoit doesn't look like they'll be going out on any of my dates.

    Anacapa Island

Thanks for the info @Trailboss123 ! I think I will book Raptor then. Hopefully a few other folks do the same so we make it out! I'll be in touch as the dates get closer.

    Anacapa Island

Alright all you SoCal divers...finally making it out to the best coast to do some diving the first two weeks of June. My wife will be attending a conference in LA during week one, so my plan is to rent a car and drive up to Ventura one of those days and check out the channel islands. The...

Fins to DS boots cross reference

This would be a great thread to bring back to life. Particularly interested in fusion boot/Evo 4 with jet fins and deep 6 fins.

    Diving with seals in NH

Did you end up going on this dive @pinniped84? This sounds like so much fun. Might have to look into it for this summer .

    Pop ups

Yeah, I may have to turn to that. It's only this site that seems to be an issue for me. Pretty disappointing as I obviously used to enjoy browsing SB all the time!

    Pop ups

Anything ever come of this? Scubaboard is mostly unusable for me now. No matter how many times I try to reload most threads, I get one of two "congratulations" pop up ads that hijack the site .

    Liveaboard with fewer old people?

TIL that even though I may physically be 33, I'm definitely at least 60 mentally.

    Liveaboard with fewer old people?

I've always wondered if this was the case. I've been thinking about trying to book a trip, but as a buddy-less diver in my 30s, I sort of suspected that most folks would be quite a bit older than me. Not that there is anything wrong with that, of course. Might be a great learning opportunity!

Can Scuba Therapy help Chronic Pain?

I had chronic pain related to an abcess near my spine. Diving was THE ONLY thing that provided me any relief. So much so that I researched and found several studies that supported what I was experiencing in patients who underwent hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

    RX100 IV-NAUTICAM HOUSING ZOOM?

I generally have to do the same. Since I use the WWL-1, I usually just zoom in to around 28mm at the beginning of the dive, and then "zoom" with my body of I feel I need a closer shot of something. Generally you'll get much better results with this method anyway since you want to minimize water...

Sony Rx100 wide angle lens options?

I use the Nauticam WWL-1 with my RX100m5. As @Barmaglot mentioned above, it requires zooming in ever so slightly to avoid vignetting, but it's a pretty gorgeous lens. One thing worth noting though, it's also a beast in terms of weight and size so if you're looking for something smaller, you may...

    Kwark Navy undergarment?

Interested in this as well. I've pretty much decided to commit to trying the kwark navy based on all the favorable reviews I've read as well as the ease of care and durability. For anyone who has one, any idea on where to order one for shipping to the US? I've emailed shaw-tec with no response.

Looking for Dive Charter in Ft. Lauderdale

In Ft. Lauderdale, I think most if not all charters go out of Pompano. I used Pompano Dive Center last time I was down there. There's also great shore diving right off the beach in Lauderdale by the Sea.

    Water water everywhere but....

Okay, that Beuchat Guardian board is actually pretty cool. Although I feel like it's so big you'd have to leave a buddy topside to tend the boat/keep your champagne chilled.
