I currently have a Whites Fusion drysuit with the tech skin, but I'd like to upgrade to the bullet skin for the improved no-sag zip pockets and heavier duty neoprene. If anyone has one to sell, please let me know! Size needed is L/XL
I would go with BigBlue. I get a discount on Light and Motion gear and I still went with the same BigBlue light you're looking at. It puts out more light than you'll ever need and the runtime is fantastic. I've heard a lot of stories of the light and motion lights having issues with charging...
Thanks for the quick reply! That's great news. I'm looking forward to posting a full review of the mask from a FFM newbie's perspective in the coming weeks! Tell engineering that if they need a beta tester for the ABV, I'd be happy to volunteer my services!
Just ordered my Spectrum during the fantastic Father's Day sale @Dive Right In Scuba had. Can't wait to receive my mask and finally be done with ill-fitting masks and what seems like the constant search for a mask that won't leak on my weirdo face!
Wondering if @anelson-OTS can update us on...
Just watch timing with LVDC. They close before Dutch does so make sure you get back there in time to return your tanks. I didn't one time and had to leave the tanks around back and hope for the best.
Hey, this is a long shot, but was diving today at Heisler Park in Laguna Beach and lost a single Hollis F1 fin. I'll send you endless good vibes if you find it!
South Coast is cancelling their planned group dive for tomorrow due to expected swell. If anybody wants to get a Laguna dive in today, let me know and I'll go rent some tanks!
Somebody likes that Teric! I know how you feel though. Had 4 dives in my Perdix when the Perdix AI came out. Luckily found a diver willing to make a trade!
Not a ton. I've done some shore diving in Florida and locally here in NY, but honestly havent had to deal with much surf. Any tips? Am I most likely going to end up on my butt the first time?
Luckily I plan on traveling with my sea lion costume. Great for getting up close with the water puppies...not so great if the landlord decides to make an appearance.
I think you convinced me to make the drive. I found a company down there that offers guided shore dives. La Jolla Scuba Diving...
Hey, I'm a New Yorker, so I'm definitely not used to that level of service!
If you guys were me, would it be worth taking a drive to dive La Jolla one morning? Or is there nothing there that I can't get in Laguna?
Thanks for the great info! Just signed up for the South Coast Divers email list. I'll borrow my wife's Facebook to check out Pacific wilderness. If you end up diving that weekend, please let me know. I'd love to join.
