Looking for a gently used strobe package for Nauticam RX100m5. Ideally Sea and Sea YS-D2, 2x 8 inch arms, 2x 5 inch arms, cables and clamps. If you have anything that might fit the bill, let me know. Open to partial trades as well. Thanks.
I find that CrossFit is great fitness training for divers. It's truly functional fitness, so it touches all aspects of diving. Lift heavy tanks? No problem. Long periods of exertion from finning hard into a current? Not a sweat. Short bursts of power needed to lift that wreck off a trapped...
I recently met a guy working on a similar project for his senior design project in college. I actually bought the tank off of him when he was done with the project. I think the goal was to be able to trigger a lift bag that could return an anchor to the surface. Anyway, he sent me this video of...
Digressions always welcome!
I do think you missed the configuration for telling scary underwater ghost stories. In that case you will need to have a light clipped and illuninating your face from below for dramatic effect.
I decided to take the plunge and buy a dedicated underwater photo rig, so I'm selling my brand new, never used GoPro Hero 5 Underwater Video setup to help pay the bills. This is a complete package and includes everything* you see pictured. Asking $600.
Items include:
- GoPro Hero 5 (brand new)
-...

I think I understand what you're saying. That sounds like a great idea actually. Almost like slinging it like a tiny stage bottle. I can even use some rubber surgical tubing so that the clip doesn't scratch the light. I made a really rough drawing of what I think it would look like, but I would...
For sure, I'll let you know what I end up going with. I have a heavy duty retractor on my console that would easily support the weight, but it might get annoying to hold it out in front of me with constant tension after a while. The coil lanyard might be a better option.
Yeah, as much as I would like to keep it on my shoulder, this light may lend itself to attachment at the hip instead. One good thing is, even on my hip, the light should remain pretty streamlined because it's so compact.
Need suggestions for clipping this light to my shoulder d-ring. It's a big blue TL3100 Supreme. I was hoping to use my new oxychek raider light sock, but the light is wayy too girthy to fit in it. The soft Goodman handle that comes with the light from big blue has a plastic ring on the right...
