I've read some posts over on TDS where short divers (I'm 5'7") complained of being head-heavy in the double E7-100's. Any thoughts on how the E7-100's trim out compared to the E8-119 for a short diver??????

They're all suppose to be good. I'd go with the Apex DS4/ATX40 and get the same performance along with saving $$$$.

I would also consider your physical size, air consumption, and types of dives you'll be doing. I am 5'7" 140lbs, outstanding air consumption. I'll go with the E7-100's if I ever get enough $$$ to put together doubles. my 2 $/100 steve

I use a Casio also. Six years on the same battery, this thing has been used and abused but still works great. Stopwatch function is good for a bottom timer or timing your safety stop. Works for me...steve

When my son was 12 & 13 years old, this was one of the possible situations we had discussed in advance. The plan was: If he missed the line, I was going with him; if I missed the line, he was to get on the boat. This probably makes no sense to some and goes back to strong diver/weak diver but...

Interesting, I think the IANTD Adv Nitrox only trains in the use of up to 50%; quite a difference. Of course, I know the thread was comparing TDI to PADI, but still worth considering if that info is correct.

Matt, can you buy and use 100% O2 with the TDI Adv nitrox cert.???? If not, what does the Adv nitrox qualify you to do?? Does it take Deco Prod in addition to Adv Nitrox to use 100% on dives less than 130'?????? thanks steve
