There's two different manuals, one for tech mode, one for rec mode.

So i'll copy my comment from YT to this thread. My wife and I both had the Icon which was the previous version of the Genius, I now have a Perdix and we're considering what to get her to replace her recently deceased ICON.

Every DC i've owned has had a deep "test" dive as dive #1.

The cinch is a great solution for rental BP/W setups.

Back to the original topic.. I don't when single tank rec diving. My brain is my backup computer and my buddy is my depth gauge. Maybe if I could find a cheap and basic ZHL16C computer i'd add it as secondary, but it's not a priority atm.

The transmitter simply broadcasts. The computer decides which transmitters it listens to. Think of it like a radio broadcast and a radio receiver.

What if you just changed out the webbing? We have coloured webbing on all our rigs so it's obvious who's is who's. It'll cost you $20. Too late now, but Halcyon and Oxycheq at least also make lots of different coloured wings.

There's a study out there where they tested 100 men of various shapes and sizes. Basically it determined that everybody is positively buoyant with a full set of lungs, 70% or so with empty lungs. That would indicate to me that adding a few kg's of body weight shouldn't change your weighting...
