My wife dives a Sherwood Luna and really likes how it fits. It travels well given its small compact size. She also liked the Zena and Scubapro Ladyhawk.
Call Larry at Scuba Toys. They're a ScubaPro/Uwatec dealer. I imagine they can help you out over the phone. My experience has been that Larry gives you a very fair price for gear....even the stuff he cannot sell over the internet.
That describes precisely the problem I have experienced a few times. It sure does make the piece of cartilage at the bottom of the nose sore after a few days of diving. Thanks for the tip on the mask strap placement.
Some of the posts in response have prompted another question:
When the reg comes back from the LDS after its annual service what do you look for and what tests can you do to make sure they did the job right and it's going to work the next time it's used?
Thanks. That's exactly what I was looking for. Obviously the primary 2nd stage is disassembed, overhauled and tested but what about the octo/safe second; is it standard practice to also overhaul and test it during the annual service?
I too have found tag lines on most 6 pack boats in Coz. Whether it was used by some or not is a different story. Usually when the wind was blowing or current going pretty good, those who did not use it the first dive (and managed to drift past the boat) were quick to grab it the second dive...
Barry Goode - If you go back to the first response to your original post you'll see it was from "CJ", which is Deanne and Giles from Wall to Wall Diving on GC. They run a great dive operation and keep a second boat in the yacht club to use for trips to Stingray City with small groups. In...
Thanks for the suggestion.
After more research on all three, it looks like the two leaders are the Analox O2EII and the OxySpy, with the Analox O2EII probably winning out due to better price and longer O2 sensor life (and 3 year prorated warranty on the senor). I'd like to hear from anyone...
I'm looking into buying an O2 analyzer and looking for feedback on these 3 analyzers:
1. Analox O2EII,
2. Oxycheq Expedition, or
3. OxySpy O2 Analyzer
Any suggestions on which one, and why one is better than the other? Also, how do you calibrate the Analox O2EII?
Thanks
Sean C - Wish I could help you out before your trip but I too will be there in May. I'm planning on diving with Dive BVI. I've also heard good things about UBS. Have Fun.
