Indecision - Providenciales or Dominican Republic

I think you will find that hands-down, T&C is better for diving than DR. Try Fifi with Caicos Adventures or Turtle Divers for dive ops on T&C in Provo area.

    Kid's club at Iberostar

Has anyone used the kid's club at the Iberostar? If so, can you provide some insight on your experience with them. Also, the web site says ages 4 - 12. Has anyone had their child attend it even though he/she was not yet 4 (say about 3 1/2)?

    Reg question

I'm not 100% sure of the exact reason for this but I experienced the same thing on mine. (I think it has something to do with negative pressure build up in the octo holder causing it to draw air.) I got rid of the octo holder you described and went with something like this...

    Grand Cayman Restaurants

I have done a search of the boards and found lots and lots of comments about good restaurants on Grand Cayman. However, I need to narrow the list down. Assuming I have 3 nights to eat out, what are the 3 best restaurants I should go to on GC?

Cozumel Honeymoon spots? (yes it will include Diving)

Try Funjet Vacations. www.funjet.com I think they fly charters out of San Antonio also, which gets the price down to a more reasonable amount. You can probably find some good deals that will fit in your budget for Cozumel.

Diver pickup fee charged from the Iberoster??

If I'm reading this portion of the email correctly, the Iberostar's PR rep. is saying that they do charge a fee to outside operators, but she does not say how much is charged, whether it is a lump sum/flat fee per year or whether it's based upon the number of divers picked.

    OC Grand question

There is no shore diving at the Grand (and very little on Cozumel itself). My experience has been that the dive shop is separate from the resort and the stay at the resort does not include free use of dive gear or free dives.

    Dive House or Dive Paradise?

I like Liquid Blue (www.liquidbluedivers.com) and BlueXtSeaDiving (www.bluextseadiving.com) alot. I have used both and they are both excellent operations. They use small boats with about 6 divers on board as the max. They put safety as a number one priority, very professional, excellent...

Grand Cayman: Place for a "warm-up dive" upon arrival?

My dive buddy and I (both novices by our standards) would like to do a "warm-up dive" upon our arrival to Grand Cayman so we get ourselves comfortable and situated before doing our boat dives the next day. We are staying along 7 mile beach. Any good suggestions?
