Mine has been great so far. It's as bright as pretty much any light out there and has a 6 degree beam with appropriate spill. I also got it during black Friday sales and paid 40% of what an equivalent UWLD LD40 would cost. Sure the light output reduces a bit overtime but can't really beat it at...
For me, it's quicker to throw on a DIN to Yoke adapter than to unscrew hoses/second stages to swap to a DIN first stage. Also the Din to Yoke converter is generally going to be lighter for travel
As others have said, that's a 300bar valve as opposed to a 200 bar valve. The 300 bar valve is a good bit longer than the 200 bar ones and will not accept a din/yoke plug and a yoke reg won't fit over it. Valves are relatively inexpensive, just replace it with a 200 bar one
I don't have a weight solution for you specifically as I don't use ditchable weights, but I know there's a bunch of manufacturers that have various systems which I'm sure will work with your system. In terms of fit it sounds like your shoulder straps are too tight. Loosen your shoulder straps...
How do we get the public trust for lands interested? Would definitely be a bummer if SWRWM obtains the property and then denies everyone access.
Also, I'm curious why SWRWM has that policy, is there any history there or backstory?
4 hour runtime at 1000 lumens from one 18650 battery? I'm calling BS on one of those numbers. Either it's no where even remotely close to 1000 lumens or it doesn't have anything close to a 4 hr runtime. Also, there's nothing on your website about beam angle
I was under the impression that Apprentice was more or less phased out and that most divers these days do Intro and then do Full Cave. Is this not the case?
