The high tide window for diving the PCB jetties is around 4:00 AM on Saturday 8/25/2012. While I highly recommend the PCB Jetties due to the tide times, this weekend is not the best time to plan your trip.
I am pretty sure that persons being towed (skiing/tubing) are counted against the vessel’s capacity plate. So if you have a three person ski I would limit the number of people to 3 per trip.
It must have been because of outrageous behavior such as this the the Florida Marine Patrol (FMP) was disbanded and replaced with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission (FWC).

I do not work for or represent Shearwater Research in any way, but I do know Bruce fairly well. I strongly suspect the answer to your question is that Bruce did the market research and determined that the audible alarm was a feature that was not wanted by his targeted customers.

While I can not say what Superlyte 27’s shop will do for sure, the pre 1990 alloy issue only applies to aluminum tanks. I have stopped using all my older aluminum tanks, but still use several older steel tanks from the 1960s and 70s.
