    Scuba travel fins, full foot

I second the vote for the Scuba Pro Go. Haas a bungee strap but very comfortable in bare feet and easy to frog kick or back kick with. Plus super light. Note: the Go and Go Sport are different models. The Go Sport is bigger, heavier and designed to be worn over boots.

Are the various Ships-to-Reefs organizations dead?

The Annapolis is currently sunk as an artificial reef near Vancouver, BC. I've dove it many times. Annapolis

    Neck seal anxiety - ideas?

I second @gqllc007 above try a neoprene neck seal. Although I currently dive with a latex seal, when I've tried Neoprene they were far more comfortable and less claustrophobic feeling. Or perhaps a somewhat too loose latex seal tightened up with a elastic cinch strap or some electrical tape...

Computers that DON’T revert to air setting

The Eon's can be quite a bit less conservative than my original Zoop. You can adjust the conservativeness setting from +2 to -2 Eon Steel can run Buhlman 16 with your choice of GF

Computers that DON’T revert to air setting

Suunto Zoop (Original) does this after 2 hours or after they do not fly warning expires whichever is later. Suunto Eon Core does not. I had the first one happen the very first time I dove nitrox when I tested and labelled my tanks at the shop, set the right percentage on my zoop, drove to the...

    How to find an LDS?

Lots of Dive Shops aren't very web savvy. Unfortunately for them, it ends up costing them lots of business. When I was looking for an LDS, of the around 8 shops in my area, only 3 posted their course schedule only and only one of those was up to date. (The other two were advertising courses over...

What are some of your worst entanglement experiences?

Descending from a buoy along its anchor chain my buddy managed to get his BCD oral inflator hose mouthpiece wedged into the links of the chain at about 10 feet. He couldn't ascend or descend more than the length of his inflator hose. I was leading, saw he wasn't following and ascended to see...

    Suunto Eon Core

Love my Eon Core - super easy to use interface and great display. Transmitter works flawlessly. Example of ease of use. I usually have the tank pressure displayed in PSI but on vacation I was diving with a shop that did everything in BAR. I made the switch in under a minute, never having done...

    Dry Suit Thoughts and Experiences?

On a hot summer day my dry suit is always damp due to sweat while suiting up. I suit up as quickly as possible and get in without delay, but still. If there is a delay, like last week when one of the group had an equipment issue discovered pre-dive, my suit can be quite wet! Afterwards adding...

Any way to help Cozumel with vaccinations?

Those of us in richer counties need to encourage our governments to donate vaccines to poorer countries or if already doing so donate more. Plus, if not already, get yourself fully vaccinated, don't be a carrier to your favorite vacation spot.

    Padi Rescue Diver E-Learning Problems

Just gave a quick test of my printed paper PADI Rescue manual. It continues to function flawlessly.

Suit filed in case of "Girl dead, boy injured at Glacier National Park

Definitely many factors here. I find squeeze more noticeable in a rented trilam suit than my own compressed neoprene suit. I'm not sure if that is due to the different materials, the different fit or just the random way the trilam material got folded as it compressed on that particular dive...

Fins more flexible than Mares Quattro?

Mares Quattro have very large blades. A smaller blade will also reduce the force on your knees.

What is your personal depth that CESA is option #1

I've got a significant margin for error in there as my usual dives max out at 28m or so and I've never gone below 40m.

What is your personal depth that CESA is option #1

My Suunto Eon Core works very similarly to what you describe for the Teric for safety stops. There is no lockout for omitting a safety stop. (deco stops are a different story) It also pauses and resumes the safety stop when I drop below 6m. So it if has counted down to 1:45seconds and I drop...

So If I get a Shearwater I can skip those boring Deco stops?

What is your personal depth that CESA is option #1

And I thought DECO time was to prevent the diver from getting Decompression Illness. If DECO time is only to prevent my computer from locking out I can skip it and use a different computer on my next dive. :poke:
