:rofl3: at least there is a consensus....
Answers from dive boat/shop provide everything to dive boat/shop provide nothing, and everything in between.
I know (prior to this question) that I would have brought my own weight belt, and now in the future I am not going to assume an...
It's rough out there on the south side of Oahu. This morning I saw one dive boat leave the harbor (Kewalo Basin). They got out to the shallow reef dive sites and turned right around and came back in...
I hope the rest of your time here is enjoyable. Aloha!
The instructors on our boats wear what they want. (and I have. never heard any comments). Some wear rental, some BP/W, some Hydros Pros etc.
Unless the shop you work for wants you in gear they sell, wear the gear that you like.
Your links show Glory hitting legend. The second link has images taken after the collision where it looks that Glory is moving from left to right and hitting a ship, but this is just perspective and is after the collision between Glory and legend (note the damage on Glory's stern)
Glory was the ship moving. Legend was docked. From Fox News:

Interesting. We put divers in with Giant Strides over ladders every day.... You could definitely do a backroll of the side of the swim platform, or off the side of the boat
I've been diving the Altamas for a couple months now. Great shoe on the boat, on the beach, and in the water . I like that they are less buoyant than my 3mm booties and that they provide support and traction as needed. I dive them barefoot on the boat and add lycra socks when I am doing shore...
My experience was the product was shipped and was high quality, but it took time before it shipped and even seemed as if they only shipped after I called and emailed a couple weeks after I placed my order....
Thanks! (I am deck crew/Captain in training for IDH/HSC)
A shame when that happens. We try to avoid that situation. Today we did our Premium 2 Wreck Dive which is all nitrox and our divers got 40+ min on the YO257/San Pedro and 35+ on the The Sea Tiger. If you're still around tomorrow's double...
