what kind of diver are you?
The lucky kind :happywave:
Moved to Hawaii after not diving for years. RogueWife fell in love with diving and I lucked into crewing on a dive boat. With no COVID restrictions I'd be getting 4-6 dives a week while building my sea days for my Captain's license.
My quote above was from the 2020 Deep Dive course. That does not mean it has not changed, but I guess I'll. have to check with our. course director at our shop...
I'd. be interested to see where SSI requires a second independent air source.
What I see inn the course literature:
Some divers choose an independent air source, either in addition to one of the above systems or to stand alone as an alternate air source. The difference with this system is that...
I've enjoyed mine on around 80 dives so far. Sometimes the screen is hard to read in the sunlight, but I am happy with the performance so far.
I like the customizable screens. The compass works just fine. The algorithm works for me on the standard setting. The wireless pod eliminates a hose...
I believe the one you are discussing is for Disabled Vets. I have. never been able to buy more than an annual pass at full price despite being a vet.
The new ruling gives all Veterans free park admission
I definitely hope for a quick fix to DM5 but don't count on it.
And for those who think this issue is about the dive log, it's not.
To customize your screens on the EON Core you need to use DM5....
We were in Cuba just as Obama began to open access (and before Trump shut it back down)
Didn't dive but had a fantastic time. Havana was 100% safe (as safe as any town I have ever visited). We stayed a half hour east of Havana in a small little area. Amazing!
Locals assumed we were Canadian...
Well there are other fish in the picture, but the predominant school appears to be a Bluestripe Snapper (I'm thinking they look less yellow due to depth)
ETA: That bream above seems to be a better guess...
My experience as a diver and as the boat looking for divers.
As a diver: The Halcyon Super Big is virtually impossible to fill (yes I understand you don't "fill" it at depth) from even 75-60fsw. The 3 footer is much easier and has less risk of pulling you towards the surface as you fill.
Up...
IF you have a CNC machine...
I paid $25 for around 100 labels from these guys Diving Labels: A “must have” for divers from amateur to professional.
Seems to be a very good value :)
I believe Huish is still the. US distributor for Suunto but Amer was sold at the end of 2018
China's Anta Sports-led group buying Finland's Amer Sports for $5.2 billion
