Might want to double check your mask as well. I did some free diving with the "snorkel" mask that I had and it leaked like crazy. If you plan on diving frequently you're better off just getting good equipment. Its worth it.

Try to steer away from garbage. While my experience is limited, I personally don't find trash to be entertaining. Swim through's are a blast. I'm a pretty skinny guy. but tall. I've been diving with 10 lbs and a thin wetsuit at cerulean and still drop like a rock. I'll throw an extra 5 on there and that should work out fine. Thanks for the input.
