Doc, I'm sure the moderators do the best they can. I just like to point out cheap shots, cowardice and hypocrisy when I see them. Especially running one's mouth about someone who can't respond. Or especially someone's wife.

Actually, I cut the Halcyon patches off my dive gear, colored over the Diverite printing on my weight pockets with a marker, and buy my clothes and shoes at Walmart, no emblems. I do have dive t-shirts, but none of them say "PADI MASTER DIVER"... :-)

I can see that point of view, but if they were professional instructors as well as experienced divers, they should have easy and ready answers to their students' questions.

The limit would vary from dive to dive. I'd do Hole-in-the-wall in Jupiter (140fsw) on air, or the Grove (147fsw), but not a dark, cold quarry. I've been to 205 on air, and would consider some dives to 180 on air, but that doesn't mean any and every dive.
