Options for additional weight w/ BP/W

Martin, after spending some time with you in the water... I'll vote for you wearing the extra lead on a belt (for now). My reasoning is that- you were able to trim out dead flat with the extra weight on the belt. Should you decide to move that weight up and on to your back plate I think that...

Utter Disaster + Pinnacle D/S Undergarments

Flightlead and I did about 3 hours in 45 degree water yesterday evening...I think he got most of the bugs worked out.;) His trim was spot on by the end of the evening.

What is your favorite scuba magazine?

My favorites are ADM and Quest. I really like the way ADM draws their cave profiles.

ABWA - 2nd Annual Feb Dive.

Hey Michael- We do go back a ways in our transition from OW to Hogarthian...but we have never met. How will I recognize you at Pelham? You're 6'6", one arm, Drysuit, long hose, bungeed back up, possibly packing a humongous single steel tank, DSS wing, right side lower dump valve. How will I ever...

    SeaVision Gauge Reader Mask

Yep, I like the Seavision better than any other mask that I've had. I think mine's the Ultra. I'll have to check when I get home.

    How do you use scuba?

My customers pay me to dive their pools with the objective of finding and repairing their leaks. That one portion of our business pretty much foots the bill for my recreational diving. I'm cool with that.;)

Question about CLX450 as first drysuit

I have the CLX450 Signature with the kevlar knee pads, Rockboots, and double thigh pockets. Mine has the standard trilam bottom and the cordura trilam top half. I absolutely love this drysuit. I think that if I was just diving wrecks I might opt for the full cordura treatment. I doubt the lower...

    New or Used BCD?

What is a 2006 Scubapro Nighthawk BC worth? It has less than 10 fresh water dives. Rinsed inside and out after every dive? Perfect condition.

    Bolt snap attachment

Tie the knot as mwhities posted. A properly tied square knot is VERY secure. Tie a square knot and then dot it with just a touch of "Gorilla Glue" and the rope/line will rot before the knot fails.

    My NTEC Class Disaster

Flightlead, I'd be more than happy to work with you on any local or pool dives. I'm almost finished fine-tuning a set of 119's with my new CLX450. With me it's not so much the new drysuit but it's the 400g fleece that's taking some getting used to. Anyway, just give me a shout if you'd care to...

    Gotta have a compass???

One of the slickest set ups is a Suunto SK7 compass, mounted in one of Tobin's wrist bungee mounts. I believe he now makes a wrist mount for the Sucbapro compass but IMO the Suunto is much easier to read and use.

ABWA - 2nd Annual Feb Dive.

No deco for me unless it's an emergency situation. I would prefer to stay way short of any deco obligation diving an unknown quarry with COLD temps. Brent.
