    Dive light

I'll second the Photon Torpedo, Rat, or the Scout. You could also swing thru High Springs and just rent a HID for the weekend.

DUI suit suitable for NE wreckdiving

Another vote for the CLX-450, I love mine. It's a good bit tougher than the 350

    Dive vigilante

Leisurepro has my VISA card # and I have enough Jets to make it happen capt. It's bad enough that I get to dodge the mud balls in the cooper river in two weeks, but I'd really like to have my missing fins back.

    Dive vigilante

So You're the one! I thought it must be some crazed bull shark that had it in for my fins! You owe me 1.5 sets of XXL Jetfins big boy! That's 2 lefts and one right! I will not pay the "salvage" extortion fee. Ship me my fins dude....or something could happen to your cameras!

    Cavern Check outs

Fist of all- welcome to diving the holes in the ground:D. As for the those that you saw in the cavern- you'd be safe to bet that they've had no overhead training and that they have no idea what Murphy has in store for them if they keep it up. I consider myself very lucky that I died in a...

A quick poke with the bang stick and the knife waving vigilante will most likely leave you alone.:eyebrow:

    I'm Not Posting Over Here

I'll be an adult, I'll be responsible, I'll be a productive member of society, but I absolutely, positively, refuse to grow up. I can have just as much fun having a snowball fight as I can winning $500 in a poker game. And...I'm still not posting over here.

That sounds like something an elderly person would say. Oh, and I'm still not posting over here.

    Fin??

I'm sitting here looking at the NSS/CDS Cavern, Intro, Cave workbook and it reads as follows; "Equipment section - Propusion; "Power fins, with straps taped or reversed to prevent snags with the guideline. Straps replaced with spring type straps." That's it, two bullet points regarding...

    I'm Not Posting Over Here

"This "club" is for ELDERLY recreational and technical divers worldwide." Unless you "elderly" geezers lose the elderly part of the forum description....I'm not posting over here.:mooner: Besides...old people smell funny and they keep their houses TOO HOT!:shakehead:

    Fin??

I'm not saying that you didn't do it but...and I'll have to check my NSS/CDS cavern thru cave workbook, but I believe that paddle fins are a required piece of equipment even at the cavern level. I personally believe that their (splits) greatest hazard would be getting your line caught between...

    Fin??

At least not with my instructor. XL Jets and a regular wet suit bootie are perfect for my size 13w feet. My XXL Jets are perfect for my rockboots, but jeez they take a good bit more effort to dive than the XL's.

    5’ – 7” Long hose for a non-DIR configured diver OK?

I've dived a time or two with Flightlead and the "head to toe" or "top to bottom" checklist when recited outloud by each team member works pretty darn good. He actually keeps his checklist written on a folded wet-note that's tucked behind his left spring strap.;)

    Boyscout smarter than us?

I did it in the late 60's here in GA at Camp Bert Adams. The first 2 years we did it in the lake (we had to follow a guy in a canoe) and the last time we did it in the pool. The lake was great, but swimming laps in the pool for a mile was the most boring thing in the world.

    Boyscout smarter than us?

I did that also. I wonder if they still have the mile swim?

Do you have to use a wet suit?

Yeah, that post from RJP is funny as hell, one of the best! Back on topic- when the Gulf hits 82F I'm perfectly happy diving gym shorts, BP/W and nothing else, but...I'm a jelly fish magnet and that spoils the fun of skin diving. I'm allergic, and jelly fish stings look like I've been hit with...

    Tank Bangers!

Yes they are effective, but in order to use them effectivly all parties envolved must know Morse Code......just kidding. In reality- if a dive partner shows up with a tank banger you need to insist that they wear it on their head......not kidding.
