The princeton tec shockwave LED looks like a pretty cool light. Dunno if it's bigger than what you're looking for but i've heard it's very bright, batteries last forever, bulbs last forever, and pretty cheap. I travel with the 8C UK LED light which is very similar.

I don't think Ike is making a housing for the s9000. I would say the E900 is one of the best P&S for underwater out right now though and it has an ike housing coming.

I would say the Fuji E900 + ike housing is your best bet. I have the F810 and love it.
