Oceanbound, I'm planning on being there just before noon..........and there may be some people heading to Morrison if opened, if not diving at Vortex...........
define cold.......North Slope cold, or Utah cold?
I like NorthFace and Columbia clothing, many different styles and most are Outer shell/inner lining systems which make layering easy. Lightweight waterproof Gortex boots are my choice during the winter, if I'm hiking/walking in the woods.
We were working over a Radar at Miesau Army Depot in Germany, quite a shock, and we left work early that day...and my wife was in DC. I was Very worried as I did not know if she was at the Pentagon or not. She was not. A close family friend was. We will NEVER forget.
Nice rig on your back there Sherm! Sure beats the "Mud" dive I did this weekend. After watching the guy I "Buddied" up with do 3 terminal velocity decents butt down from surface to mud, vis went from 10' ot 0". Cool looking Mushroom clouds...I finally finished the dive on my own, never...
You should be able to get a slot at Hickams Dry storage lot, it is about a mile from the harbor at Hickam. Slip space is REAL HARD to get as people tend to "Sublet" in order to keep their slip. It may be wrong, but you'll have a hard time proving it!
I would advise NOT keeping your boat...
Now, if a poor unemployed guy like myself :D can afford some backgas and some diesel to get there, I'm sure you could!
I sure wish I had a drysuit.......my 3mil is looking pretty sad after 300+ dives, and squeazing my big body into it:11:
mrjimbo has a question.......will my 3mil(I also have "natural" insulation) wetsuit suffice this time o' year, for the spring/and/or/ gulf dive? if so, I'll get a spot for the trailer and come diven if y'all have me!
