    Pathfinder dimensions

I've got a Pathfinder. It'll take me a couple of days, but will take the measurements and post them here as soon as I am able.

    Blue Heron Bridge Trolls III

Found a lone tiny one just south of the east span. Spent a good 20 minutes waiting for a Blue-Throated Pike Blenny to give a mating or challenging display with no luck. He outlasted me. Got a bit chilly after remaining motionless for so long and kept the dive much shorter than usual.

    Blue Heron Bridge Trolls III

Paid a visit yesterday. Visibility before the turn was a pleasant 20'+, and degraded rapidly after the turn. Water temperature was a consistent 73° according to my Perdix.

Is it possible to travel responsibly (during a pandemic)?

I read the following story regarding a US domestic manufacturer of N95 masks in the New York Times last week; hopefully the link will work and those without subscriptions will be able to read it. Can’t Find an N95 Mask? This Company Has 30 Million That It Can’t Sell. The company, DemeTech has...

What Support Equipment for CC ?

A few items that I don’t think have been mentioned that the OP should consider. For all of the items that I’m suggesting, I think it wise to consult with your instructor. For your air diluent class and initial CCR dives you’ll want a reel with sufficient line to shoot a bag from depth, and...

    Best of 2020

Wonderful images. My year was also the slowest one I've had in decades, but not quite as sluggish as yours.

Have you tested positive for COVID?

Sorry that I’m late to find this thread and to hear of your diagnosis @Wookie. Best wishes for a full and rapid recovery. You initially asked how mild or bad individual cases have been. I’ve lost one family member and a life-long friend to COVID-19. Zoom funerals are no less wrenching to attend...

    Looking for photoshop tutorial

I've been a commercial photographer for over 30 years and have been using Photoshop since it was first introduced. For UW shooters, nothing I've seen compares to the information that Erin Quigley presents.

    Jim Mims

Very sorry to read this, but “liked” the original post because it was the way I learned of Jim’s passing. The information is good, though the news it bears is tragic. Jim brought me out for my first visit to the Hydro Atlantic wreck almost 30 years ago, and I’ve admired and respected him ever...

    Car keys when shore diving

I use a valet key and keep it on a string around my neck.

    Your most expensive dive

Maybe you purchased old or discounted helium. You paid the 2002 price, but didn't Hurricane Wilma pay her visit in 2005? I can't recall the price difference between those two years, but felt like nit-picking. In any event, a bummer of a story that grows only marginally more amusing as the years...

    Divers Insurance...Yay or Nay?

I have been insured by DAN since 1986, have not yet had to use it, but would not consider going without it. As far as I can see, there is literally no down side to having DAN insurance. During the 30 years that I’ve been providing dive instruction, I’ve encouraged every single one of my students...

I have no problem at all collecting fair fees from my friends. My enemies don't give me their business.

    2 year old diving ?

While we have the same anatomical bits, each person has their own particular way of controlling various aspects of their bodies. Some folks can wiggle their ears. Some can wiggle each one independent of the other. Some can clear their ears by simply swallowing, wriggling their lower jaws, or...

    2 year old diving ?

Yes. But the risks can be almost entirely negated by proper protocol, training, and responsible supervision.
