Here's an older link about the origin of the dive flag. I'm including it more for the humor.

I'd rather see someone ask the question multiple times, than see them buy the wrong RB for them.
Another biased PNW rEvo owner here... Mel is a great asset for us in the PNW. Not only is she a rEvo instructor, but she is also on the Meg. I would be weary asking "which unit should I get"...
Narcosis Management Course? He's making you pay to buy him beers?
Like everyone else said, get some more dives in. I think Jo is the guy who teaches Fundies on Oahu... really good guy.
I was lucky enough to do 2 dives on the Windjammer wreck during my trip in October... it's a little long, but feel free to fast forward through the slow parts

I was going to suggest calling Dacor themselves... then I remembered that they went out of business over 10 years ago. I would think finding any parts for that reg would be difficult
I'm a fan of Deep Sea Supply (deepseasupply.com). Really though, the best thing to do is to dive a BP/W before spending the money. I personally would get a higher performing regulator. HOG makes some great regulators at a lower price.
Just a suggestion, before you spend a ton of money on a zeagle, at least try out a BP/W setup (any manufacturer). Being in Tampa, I'm sure you could throw a stone and hit at least 3 shops that would let you borrow/rent one.
