why not just switch masks? obviously the being able to see and safely use your deco bottles is much more important than a low profile mask

are you also doing your adv. deco with YMCA? do they have a minimum number of dives? according to your profile you were just certified in march and have done less than 15 dives. ( I know we haven't been able to update).

Why did you get down to 230 psi anyway? spg's aren't that accurate they are probably about + or - 100 psi when you get down that low. Also your instructor confirmed there was 230psi at the surface which means there was probably nothing at depth. Stop blaming a reg for your mistake.

ya but in the op's story the guy passed it off as his breathing tank meaning he would have to have put his bc straps on it and re arrange everything without anyone seeing. good buddy awareness
